I have had my father in Mayfield for a month and found the home, the staff absolutely brilliant. All staff are very friendly very helpful and nothing is to much trouble.

My Mum moved into The Mayfield in Aug 2024. To leave her home and move into care home accommodation is very daunting but all the staff have gone out of their way to make The Mayfield her new 'home'. She loves the staff and whenever I visit she and they are laughing - she's made genuine friends and is
safe and secure. I'd recommend The Mayfield to my friends -
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Thank you.

My mum has settled in the home now. She is eating well and there are plenty of things to hold her interest. It is a shame that to date two hearing aids have gone missing.

This was my first experience in The Mayfield, was staying for 2 weeks respite care after hospital. I was very pleased with everything I found there. I was particularly pleased with the helpfulness of the staff and the delicious food served.

This was a wonderful post-operation respite time. The care, attention and service was amazing. I cannot think that I could have been better cared for, and service given. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and supportive.

After a successful 15-year career in investment management, Tobyn moved into care in 2020 to pursue his passion for improving the lives of the elderly. This involved co-founding Elmfield Care, a luxury care home provider that commissioned two homes in Wiltshire. In 2022, he started Cromwell Care, another luxury care home provider that opened The Mayfield Care Home in Whitby in March 2023. Tobyn is passionate about building a talented, caring team that is aligned with The Mayfield’s values and focused on providing the very best care and hospitality to our residents.
