The staff are very patient and caring and keep trying to do more with Mum to see that she gets the benefit of the facilities here. Mum is always comfortable though she is in bed most of the time.

I would recommend this home very highly. Mum and my stepdad went into Alston House for respite care. At all times they were treated with respect and treated with exceptional care. Mum was very anxious on her arrival but within a short time, her confidence and mobility improved greatly which was lovely
to see.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and you soon become part of the Alston House family from residents to their families.
This is a beautiful home with good food, lots of activities and great caring staff.

I cannot recommend Alston Care enough for the care my mum received during her stay here.
The staff were exemplary and showed great kindness and compassion.
The activities offered were very stimulating also.

Having observed the construction of Alston House throughout the building period and waited anxiously for the home to open, the quality of the establishment far exceeds my expectations. I have moved my wife from another well respected care home, with which we were very satisfied, purely because of the
proximity to my own address.
The residents rooms and the communal facilities in Alston House are outstanding to say the least. The staff are friendly, helpful and caring. With no restrictions on visiting, I am able to visit my wife seven days a week, for four and a half hours or so each time. I am 'part of the family'.
