Anchor's Skelton Court is a brand new, state-of-the-art, purpose-built care home. It continues to welcome new residents. Skelton Court provides residential and residential dementia care for up to 65 older people in a supportive environment, finished to the highest standard and incorporating the latest supportive technology. Skelton Court is close to Saltburn-by-the-Sea and the lovely North East coast.

Skelton Court's impressive facilities include all bedrooms with en suite wet room facilities, a bar area, quiet lounges, a hair and beauty salon and activity areas to be arranged with residents' input. It is surrounded by private landscaped gardens with outdoor seating areas. Some bedrooms benefit from stunning sea views. The home is located in the heart of Skelton-in-Cleveland within a short distance of shops, schools and places to eat and drink.

Skelton Court provides care which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of residents and enhance their quality of life. The home works with its residents and their loved ones to create detailed care plans. This ensures each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Care home appearance is very nice. Internal decor bright and clean. Care staff are very caring and appeared to enjoy their work but at times a bit stressed due to times when there does not seem to be enough staff to care for all residents, especially on the dementia level. Food at times does not look
too appetising, especially to someone who likes (no frills food) i.e. basic egg and chips, meat and veg. Couple of items, glasses/wallet have gone missing and not recovered. Find this hard to believe as all residents on level 1 don't go anywhere so would have expected them to have been located somewhere on level 1. Cost is excessive for food and accommodation but care from staff good and caring.

My dad has been a resident in the care home for nearly a year. He has settled in well and both myself and my sister are very happy with the care he has received. We are always informed by staff if there have been any issues/incidents involving our dad. If we have asked for anything to be done for dad,
the staff have usually acted straight away. The staff are all very kind and caring to all the residents. The activities they have are amazing. My dad seems to love them. The home is very clean, the laundry is clean and fresh, the food is wonderful. It is a very warm and welcoming home.

The staff are invariably pleasant and helpful and the cleanliness and attractiveness in the building are exemplary. In addition, the staff are attentive to the needs and care of the residents and 'Tilly' the dog is a darling.

I have lived in Skelton Court since the 4th of April 2024. I arrived ill, tired and frightened. Living on my own was becoming very difficult. here I feel safe, secure and looked after. The place is lovely, more like a luxury hotel than a care home. The staff are caring and cannot do enough for you.
It's a home-from-home. when friends brought food for lunch, the staff set a table with serviettes and wine glasses in the garden, another time my daughter stayed for lunch. Really, I can't praise Skelton Court enough. I'm as happy as I could be, given my circumstances. this place must beat all the others.

From what I've seen this is the best home around. Friendly staff, very clean. I'm told the food is very good. The rooms and communal areas are very nice, good decor. Maybe more activities, depending on what different residents want, as it can be boring.

There are no activities for my husband. Promises were made to take him for his paper and take him for a walk. This rarely happened. Even though he has dementia he can hold a sensible conversation and attempts the Times crossword each day. He is mobile with a stick. He was well looked after and the food
was wonderful. We enjoyed the monthly singing group.

Lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment of entry until departure. The staff are very friendly and helpful and deal with all queries promptly. There is a nice family feel, as I have gotten to know a few of the residents, as they have their meet-up place near reception.
The cooks have
worked with my aunt to find soft foods she can eat.
We are so pleased to have found this place; my aunt can comfortably spend her final time in life.

Skelton Court is a lovely place to live, I only went there for two weeks of respite but have fell in love with the place, the staff are all kind and caring. The food is exceptional, I am on a wheat and dairy-free diet and the cooks and carers all provided so well for me. Lovely gardens and lounges,
always provided entertainment and many cups of tea, all in all, a pleasant stay.

Facility matches the impressive website presence. New well-designed, homely environment, including small lounges, views of the sea and garden. Staff very attentive and welcoming. Our mother, despite her dementia, has settled well and has told us she was pleased with her "choice of flat". On each visit,
we were offered refreshments. Despite living on the other side of the world, we feel pleased that Mum has the best home for her care.

My father came to the home and was welcomed by the happy, thoughtful staff. The carers made sure that my dad's needs were tended to in all areas. It is a bright and cheerful home where all staff greet us, even the dogs. I live in Australia and will be returning there soon, so I am so grateful that he

As I was Dad's carer, it was a very hard decision to put my dad into care. From the moment I walked into Skelton Court, I knew it was the right place for him. The home has a friendly, homely feel. Staff are professional, but at the same time, caring and loving. Nothing is too much trouble. My dad has
dementia, and since being in the home, he has become more engaging - chatting, laughing and dancing... not to mention the singing! I can rest easy knowing how well cared for my dad is. It is the beginning of a new life chapter, and I can now become my dad's daughter, once again, instead of his carer. Highly recommend this lovely home.

I have been aware of the group's homes for 50 years. I have spent time in other care homes, but none compare to Skelton Court and the care home services. I became aware recently of the opening of Skelton Court and applied, and to my delight, I found out I would become the first-ever resident. I am now
in my third week, and the whole experience has been so professional. The home is just like a first-class hotel. The staff and management have been so helpful and friendly, and no tasks are too big or small for them. The food and menus have been excellent, with a great range of choices to choose from. All facilities are first class, and I am very happy to be here and to be safely looked after by the excellent Skelton Court team and management.
