I have worked within management for over 23 years and my exciting journey started with Barchester in 2023.

I am exceptionally passionate about my vocation. I work very closely with my team here at Elgar Court to enable me to cascade my wealth of knowledge and experiences, ensuring we provide the best possible person-centred care, and passion for life alongside a fulfilled and amazing life enrichment programme tailored for all capabilities and interests.

Hello, my name is Liz and I am the Deputy Manager for Elgar Court. I have been with Barchester for over 10 years and managed a number of homes across the Midlands. I am dedicated to the excellent care and well-being of our residents, and I always strive to ensure we provide the very best enriched environment for our homes. Hello, my name is Sheralyn but I prefer to be called Shez. I have worked in the care industry for 14 years and I am very passionate about my role. I have recently gained the highest level of qualification in care, and I look forward to using my newfound knowledge to support and enrich the lives of our residents. I have two young children at home and in my spare time, I enjoy family days out and reading.

I am an award-winning Executive Chef, who has worked internationally in luxury hotels and private dining organisations across the world. I cannot wait to share my wealth of knowledge of local, national and international food with our residents at Elgar Court.

Hello, my name is Dan and I am a Chef at Elgar Court.  I have worked at a number of restaurants and enjoy learning something new ever day to please our residents.

In my spare time my interests are cars and eating out with friends.

After a 30-year career as a Police Officer, I learned that I was happiest when helping people. Seven years managing holiday camps developed a skillset in maintenance and I’ve always loved a challenge. Head of Maintenance at the brand new Elgar Court means I get to combine all three and I can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful new home.

Through my husband's work, we were relocated to North Carolina in the US. During this time I worked in finance, and then on my return to the UK I continued my career with Bupa as a Finance Administrator. I am now fortunate to once again work in care for the Barchester Group as a Home Administrator and I look forward to meeting our new residents.

I recently retired from being a senior Paediatric nurse at Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital and moved to Malvern this year. I enjoy going travelling to far-off countries and spending time with my family. I am enjoying getting to know our residents and meeting all our visitors.

Hello, I am Nicky I am originally from London and I have over 20 years of working in care. I have two grown children and love riding my Kawasaki Motorbike in my spare time.

I have a passion for supporting people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s as both my grandparents had this disease. They used to say to me that I “bring daylight into their lives”, and I want to do this for the residents I care for at Elgar Court.

Hello, I'm Will and I have worked in care for 14 years. It's been exciting watching Elgar Court being built and I'm looking forward to welcoming our residents. Outside of work, I enjoy reading and walking. I'm also an avid collector of 18th & 19th-century tokens coins and enjoy going around the local flea fairs.

Hello, my name is Fran. I've worked as a carer for 9 years, and I love what I do. I love getting to know different kinds of people and building relationships with them, especially those with advanced dementia. It brings me great joy to engage and help empower my residents to live the fullest lives possible. I can be quiet, but I can also be very silly!

Outside of work, I love to collect vintage clothing, travel abroad, walk our local hills, sing and spend time with my family.

I have been working in care since 2008 and love working with the elderly and making them feel special in any way I can.

I've been caring for people in my work role for over 16 years, and have made many friendships with residents and their families, during that time.

When I'm not working, my other passion, is my 3-year-old African Grey Parrott, always causing mischief and up to no good... he's a proper little character!

Hello, My name is Kerrie and I provide unique life enrichment for residents at Elgar Court. I moved to Malvern 12 years ago to live with my fiance and we have two tortoises and a snake. I love to play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I am very 'outdoorsy' and used to riding horses and competing nationally in athletics, specialising in track and field for Redditch and Bromsgrove Athletics Club.

In my spare time, I love being in the kitchen and making treats for my family.
