My name is Maria. I am the Deputy Manager at Oakley Grange. I describe myself as a passionate registered nurse who takes pride in delivering a high standard of care to all residents in their beautiful luxurious new homes. I am enthusiastic and driven to do the best I can for all under my care.
As a Nurse deputy manager, I ensure that care delivery aligns with the highest quality of care under NICE and NMC guidelines. I have been a nurse in Nursing Homes for over 12 years and I have gained expertise skills in training, supervision, mentoring and teaching new staff to deliver excellent nursing care to residents. I have worked as a peripatetic nurse supporting homes in the region, with action planning pre or post-CQC inspection ensuring compliance is adhered to.
The element of accountability as an overseer and working in an ever-changing environment helps the home to keep up to date with good care practices.
