It is with sadness and massive thanks that I write this review on behalf of our Mum, who sadly passed away on February 10th 2025.
Mum arrived as resident no.7, in July 2024 for respite care and she never left! It is easy to think they are just a number but from the moment she arrived, it was her
home, a vibrant community life and with people who care. It is fair to say, she loved every minute and the biggest credit we can give all the fantastic team members, is that they gave our mum a will to live, at a time when she questioned why and didn't want to be a burden on anyone.
If we heard it once .... she told us every day ....
"They can't do enough for you in here!"
So thank you from the family.

When my sister needed respite care after an op, I researched a suitable care home for her. Copperfield Court stood out head & shoulders above the others. A visit confirmed my initial feelings - it was more like a hotel than a care home! The thing that really struck me though was how friendly EVERY
member of staff was. I also noticed the love & care shown to every resident - exactly what I wanted for my sister. She was at Copperfield Court for 3 months & loved it! Staff treated her like a member of their own family rather than a resident. Their philosophy is definitely that they treat residents in exactly the way they'd want their own relative to be treated in a care home...& that extends to visitors. My only problem is that after being totally spoiled by Copperfield Court, my sister now expects a selection of home-made cakes every day, & her clothes washed & ironed within 24 hours!!! Seriously though - I can't say THANK YOU enough to EVERYONE at Copperfield Court. You are my heroes!

Staff are very friendly & very accommodating. All staff greeted us when we arrived, offered tea, coffee & came made a fuss of our 4 year old son. Granny is so happy at Copperfield & this is very important to us as a family.

I really couldn't ask for a more caring home, I feel like I have been adopted by an extended family. My mum was so wonderfully cared for, I couldn't have wished her to be in a better place, the level of care we received was absolutely amazing. Every member of staff was so lovely, I have never experienced
such warmth and love from people I hardly knew. My dad is currently there, and the care and support has been amazing. They even took him on a trip to the spitfire museum. Dad said nothing is too much trouble, the staff are fabulous. We get a warm welcome every time we visit, Dad has been able to bring in his pictures from home, so he can have familiar surroundings. I can relax knowing that Dad is safe and well cared for.

My mum has been resident for 5 months now. The place itself is a lovely environment and it's great to visit. But more importantly it is well organised and I can relax as I know mum is safe and happy. There's always something going on. The people who care for mum are lovely. Kind, jolly and patient.

When it comes to selecting the right care home for a loved one, conducting a thorough review is essential and tough especially for a parent. A comprehensive care home should delve deep into the facility's offerings, going far beyond surface-level impressions. My initial thoughts were the home was furnished
to a high standard and the care facility was phenomenal compared to others I had viewed.
I paid attention to the staff as well, assessing their demeanor, and responsiveness to residents' needs. It was apparent that the staff employed have been trained to a high standard.
I asked questions about the home's medical services, social activities, meal plans, and overall approach to nurturing both physical and mental well-being. I was pleased to hear the answers regarding my questions and felt very reassured they could care for my mum.
Since mum has been at Copperfield, although it's not been very long- she has appeared to settle well.

From my initial pop in visit to inquire about vacancies and facilities available for very specific needs, it became clear from Copperfield Court managers response, this was a well planned and executed new build.
5 star facilities and a rigorous and detailed recruitment procedure highlighting the people
they wanted to recruit.
The facilities available: shop, hairdressing, cinema link to internet shows, easy wheel chair access to gardens via common areas and individual rooms.
The rooms themselves were hotel quality; plasma screen TVs offering all major channels, Netflix, Amazon films etc, comfy chairs and secure storage. Every possible box ticked.

Living independently my mother-in-law had become increasingly isolated and lonely. She began to neglect her health and was in a downward spiral, physically and mentally. We took the decision to move her to Copperfield Court and we are so glad we did! The colour has returned to her cheeks, she's eating
again, taking part in activities and making friends. But most importantly she's happy! I would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of staff - my MIL speaks highly of each and every one of you! The care is outstanding and I can't recommend Copperfield Court highly enough.

A truly outstanding home from home. My Gran is currently staying here (she has even become an internet sensation), and she has come on leaps and bounds. The home is beautiful and the staff are phenomenal, kind, and patient. There's always something going on be that a live singer, something arranged

Mum has been at Copperfields Court just 10 days and already her life has been enriched. She has 'visited' Italy with an Italian meal, she has fed Alpacas at a BBQ in the sunny garden and has been taken to the near by shopping centre. The manager is amazing and her wonderful team can not do more to make
Mum comfortable and happy and the family so welcome.
Mum's room is lovely with a door leading to the garden and the facilities include a cinema, hairdresser, nail bar and shop. I'd be very happy to live there, the food is amazing!

My mum moved in yesterday, and today was my first visit. Very impressed from the minute we walked in the door. Warm welcome, very helpful. Given a guided tour and every question answered. Beautiful rooms and the whole place is new, fresh, clean and appealing. Very happy after my 1st visit.

I cannot fault the staff and care that has been given to my mother-in-law since her respite stay began. From what I have seen, the staff encourage the residents to join in with various activities or meals but they don't force them in any way. The residents can be as sociable as they want or could stay
in their rooms if they wish. When we have visited, there have been activities taking place - a cheese and wine (non-alcoholic) afternoon with painting, a singer, a film and a cream tea. The staff are so thoughtful and cannot do enough for you. My mother-in-law can't get over how lovely it all is - she has loved having her hair done and has used the accessible bath which she's not been able to do for some time. Her room is really spacious and she has been able to personalise it so that it feels more like her own. She has yet to go outside into the gardens but it looks lovely and there's a bench directly outside her French windows which I'm sure she'll use at some point.
