Mum entered this care home after a short stay in hospital. We had previously viewed the home with her before they were officially opened. The facilities here are new and the standard is excellent. Unfortunately mum was only here for a short time as she passed away, but whilst there the staff cared for
her wonderfully, helping her with her meals and including her in activities where possible. I would highly recommend this home.

If you are looking for a care home in the South East this is a must-see. It is brand new, purpose-built and in immaculate condition. All of the staff are extremely competent, and compassionate and clearly enjoy working at Furze Field Manor. Despite my father-in-law initially being reluctant to give
up independent living, he was very quickly won over by the facilities and atmosphere of this care home. Not to mention the amazing chef who prepares restaurant-quality food each day. It is set within the Sayers Meadow housing estate, in a lovely, small village with a local church, pub and shop. Do go and visit, you won't be disappointed.

Jacquie Ferguson

With over 30 years of experience in the care sector as a Registered Nurse, Jacquie has dedicated her career to elderly care and care homes. Having worked as both a Registered Nurse and Home Manager, she has also taken on senior leadership roles as an Operations Area Manager and Regional Manager for two large healthcare companies. However, her passion for hands-on care led her back to the role of Home Manager, where she thrives on daily interactions with residents and their families.


Jacquie remains a Registered Nurse to this day, believing it is essential to keep her clinical skills active. Her primary responsibilities include ensuring the highest standards of care for residents, overseeing the smooth running of the home, and guiding her team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care that promotes independence, privacy, and dignity.


What Jacquie loves most about her role is the personal connections she builds—whether it’s with residents, their families, or her care team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and three lively Jack Russells and escaping to Spain, where she can relax with a good book.
