Job Title: General Manager

My name is Ranjit, and I am proud to serve as the General Manager here at Marigold House Care Home. With extensive experience in the care sector as a Registered General Manager, I have had the privilege of developing and sharing my expertise to enhance the well-being of our residents.

Throughout my career, I have gained specialist knowledge in creating a supportive, enriching environment that promotes independence, dignity, and a fulfilling lifestyle for those in our care. My passion lies in finding innovative ways to help residents continue enjoying the activities they love, demonstrating that aging or changing circumstances do not mean compromising on quality of life.

Supporting families is equally important to me. From the initial inquiry to the transition into our home and beyond, I strive to provide reassurance, open communication, and ongoing support. I understand that this can be a significant change, and I am committed to ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both residents and their loved ones.

At Marigold House, we pride ourselves on our compassionate, dedicated team, and I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside them. Together, we create a warm, welcoming environment where every resident can truly thrive.

Thank you for visiting our site - I look forward to welcoming you to our home.

Hello, I’m Joel, and I’m proud to be part of the Marigold House family!

I joined in 2024, right at the very start, and it’s been an incredible experience to be involved in the opening of our wonderful home. My role is to support both new residents and staff as they transition into life at Marigold House, making sure everyone feels welcomed and at ease. No matter what, I’m always happy to help.

Although my main focus is managing the day-to-day administrative side of things, you’ll often find me getting involved in the life of the home. I love the energy and warmth of care home life, and nothing makes me happier than getting to know our residents, their families, and the stories that make them who they are.

Before moving into the care sector in 2021, I worked in finance and accounting. Switching careers was a big change, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I worked my way up from Administrator to Business Support Administrator, gaining valuable experience along the way. More importantly, I discovered how truly rewarding it is to be part of a community that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Marigold House isn’t just a place to work—it’s a home filled with warmth, compassion, and a team that genuinely cares. I’m so proud to be part of it, and I can’t wait to meet you all!
