Attended the Coronation celebration on Saturday 6th May 2023. It was an extremely well-prepared and run event. Decorations were brilliant. Staff were so helpful and friendly, making sure everyone felt included.

What a wonderful afternoon. Staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. It was a great turnout and all the people seemed to be enjoying themselves. They had pushed the boat out and decorated lovely, moved chairs for family groups. There was chatter, laughter and music. I can't thank the staff

My sister has settled in very well. She is very well cared for and enjoys the food and activities. As a regular visitor, it would be good to have the pin code to come through without disturbing the reception staff. I would like to say how wonderful I have found all the staff, from the receptionist,
right through to the management, very friendly and efficient in their respective roles. I would definitely recommend Birchmere to anyone looking for a home and my sister and family count themselves fortunate to have found it.

The team put on a 'cheese and wine' evening for the residents and their relations. It was a lovely evening, one in which my mum thoroughly enjoyed. The effort and energy the team delivered and the real love shown for the residents was fantastic.

Our experience has been excellent. The customer services manager and all the staff have been professional, friendly and welcoming from the start. Nothing has been too much trouble and everything has been done with warmth, good humour and a smile. We feel very happy to leave Mum in their capable hands.

I am wonderfully overwhelmed by the professional, polite, and empathetic support of all of the team at Birchmere House Care Home. This was a big decision for my nan to try another care home after some bad past experiences and we have been met with such care and understanding. Nan was really nervous
about it all, and over a bit of time with help from staff and other residents, she is starting to come out of her shell. Nan looks healthier and happier and as a family, we are so very grateful.

The home have been amazing in helping my father to settle in. He was transferred smoothly from hospital and the care he has received has been excellent. My mother needed full-time care after a number of falls. Birchmere House Care Home was very sympathetic and caring for her needs. After a period of respite, my mother very quickly settled in permanently. The staff are all simply fantastic here, always have a smile on their face and nothing is too much
trouble.
The home is spotless and the facilities are excellent. The entertainment programme is very full with a vast array of activities to keep the community occupied. Trips out on the minibus are particularly fun with regular stops for ice cream.
Overall, the decision to put my mother in Birchmere was exactly the right one and I'm very grateful to everyone who helped my mother settle in and who has made her life such a happy one.
I would thoroughly recommend Birchmere to anyone who is considering a care home in the Solihull area.

Hello there my name is Kerry I am the Well-being co-ordinator here at Birchmere House. I have the pleasure of working with such wonderful residents as well as family members and work colleagues alike.


My role is so rewarding, I honestly love what I do. We literally laugh here every day, the activity programme is vast and varied and covers seven days a week as well as 3/4 mini bus outings every week too. I like to refer to us as the Birchmere Family because that's exactly what we are, a little family.

Hi, my name is Alexa I am the Head of Housekeeping.
I started my career at Birchmere as a carer I then worked my way up to become a senior carer.


I work with a great team of domestics and feel very happy in my role. I am what you would call House proud so I like everything spik and span. The whole home has staff treat days which are very popular here, it makes us all feel valued and appreciated.
