I have been visiting a friend over the past six months and my observations are based over this time.
A care home can only achieve that status from those that work there and I can put my hand on my heart and say care is indeed in abundance.
Not even the best cruise lines have a one-to-one ratio of
passenger to crew member but Hartford Court Care Home voyage of care and support is very evident and of a top cruise line standard!

My father found the transition to residential care very difficult for the first few weeks. The staff were brilliant, without exception. They have encouraged him to interact with other residents and take part in the activities, which he now does.

From first visit, when considering care provision, dealt with by very friendly, approachable management staff. At Dad's initial assessment, felt like Dad was treated with dignity and that his personal wishes would be considered as far as possible. Transition of moving from hospital was made easy and
with minimal fuss which was important for my dad as he was suffering from delirium. Have found all staff we have had contact with, in three weeks since Dad arrived, extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating which gives us peace of mind of what has been a difficult time for us. Dad is settling in and I hope he will eventually benefit from joining in some of activities on offer for more stimulation. His choice to refuse at the momement.

Having experienced a couple of care homes with other relatives, I'm absolutely thrilled that I was able to secure a place in Hartford Court for my mum. The staff do a job which requires patience and a pleasant attitude, all of them I've met I feel they have all these qualities. I'd recommend the home
to all my friends and family, knowing they too would be happy.

My sister has her husband in Hartford and as my husband's health was declining I was worried how I would cope. Watching my brother-in-law and how happy he is, how kind the staff are my mind was made up. Best move ever, my husband is happy and well cared for. Lovely home, with a warm family feeling.

My mother-in-law has recently become a resident at Hartford Court. The staff there have ensured that she has settled in well. She feels safe and well looked after and has been encouraged to join in with the many activities on offer. My mother-in-law is now regularly joining in and chatting to other
residents. She was delighted to have her hair and nails done and loved all the singing activities. Seeing my mother-in-law so happy has brought peace of mind to the family. There is always a very warm welcome from staff when we visit and they go out of their way to meet any request.

Hartford Court is kept very clean to a very high standard. The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. Nothing is a bother.
There are always lots of activities for the residents to join in and their families are always made welcome to join in.
The meals provided are very good and there is always
lots of choice.

We arrived at a very welcoming environment. We were greeted by a member of staff. Our friend was taken from the dayroom so we could have privacy. His room was bright and airy. A carol sing-song was taking place later and the residents and friends were looked after and entertained.
The wife of our
friend was upset, the staff went out of their way to look after her.

I visit my ex-neighbour who has recently moved into Hartford Court. It's a lovely clean, airy home with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are all absolutely lovely and my friend seems very happy. There are activities for the residents every day and she loves taking part. My mother died in 2020 but when
my sister and I were looking for a care home for her, we visited Hartford Court and both loved it. It is just as nice now and I'd love to live there.

Hartford Court has been amazing at a very difficult and emotional time. Dad was diagnosed with dementia in January 2017. The family have all been together and cared for Dad up until now. It was a heart-wrenching decision. The staff have been very understanding, supportive, kind and listen to us. They
helped Dad settle in. We know we can go and talk to them at any time. It makes such a difference for Dad to have activities and days out.

My niece and I visited their uncle, my husband, and were given a warm welcome. Coffee and tea with biscuits were served, well-presented. My husband loves china cups!
The staff were very kind and helpful. One member took our photo which we treasure.
Our dog was welcomed too, it was a memorable visit
and we were very grateful.

Hartford Court Care Home have made my mam and family feel very welcome. The staff are always pleasant and happy to help. We have seen an improvement in Mma's behaviour which we feel is due to the care she is being given and the opportunities she has had to join in with activities. She has settled well
and we have peace of mind that her needs are being met.
