We had my mum's 100 Birthday party for family and friends at Carlton Court and everything was so well organised by the staff at Carlton Court. Everyone commented on how lovely the staff are and how everyone felt so welcomed and Mum thoroughly enjoyed herself. The food was great and nothing was too much
trouble. Thank you all at Carlton Court.

Mum is currently staying at Carlton Court for respite care after a lengthy stay in the hospital. After the initial few days of settling in she is very relaxed and fully settled. The staff a second to none and have shown complete patience and kindness to Mum. For me, the whole process was managed super
efficiently by the business development manager who is reassuring and I have felt completely supported by her and other staff.

My aunt has lived here for the last eighteen months and we think this is an excellent care home. Always very clean. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and caring and look after the residents very well. The food is also good quality and there is good choice. They organise special days and events.

The last 11 days of my father's life here were hell for him and his family due to the lack of empathy from some of the staff, nurses in particular. We thought our stress and heartbreak of watching our father dying before your eyes couldn’t get anywhere worse, but we were wrong. We sincerely regret the
day we took him into this horrible “facility”. Raising complaints is a waste of time, they just believe everything the staff say, it’s completely biased in their favour. We can’t change the past but if by posting this review it helps stop one family bringing their loved one here then that’s a result in my eyes.

Our dear mum moved into Carlton Court Care Home a month ago and, so far, we have been very impressed with the level of care of all the staff, facilities, activities and catering. The introduction and moving-in process was also handled in a caring and professional manner at what was a very distressing
time for us. We saw an improvement in Mum almost immediately.

I have been very happy with my mother's care since she moved in October 2022. I could not wish for her to be in a better care home. I know that she is being well looked after, even when we can't visit.

Extremely impressed by the prompt response my mother received when she became unwell recently. Carlton Court Care Home staff kept me fully informed of any developments and enabled her to make a full recovery.
The meals provided are nourishing and nothing is too much for them in attending to any dietary
requirements.
Staff are always kind, supportive and caring - an excellent example of person-centred care.

My sister was a resident for the last five weeks of her life, she felt very well cared for and was able to feel calm and secure. As her sister, I cannot thank the staff enough for their care, kindness and empathy that they showed to my sister, her granddaughter and myself. Special thanks to one member
of staff who consoled us throughout my sister's last hours and another member of staff who kindly took her to the garden, all were so caring and kind to both of us. Thank you.

Although my mum has only been at Carlton Court Care Home for a few days, after a long stay in hospital, she is already feeling better in herself and more relaxed. The support from the management team has been great in our time of need and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are very tentative and
caring and always with a smile on their faces. We know Mum is in good hands.

Dad was admitted from hospital for nursing care. He is relaxed and being looked after. Mum joined him a few days later so they can be together. The staff have done everything to help and ensure she is settled. The family are very happy with Carlton Court Care Home.

I am very happy we found this care home for my husband. The staff here are excellent and they are very caring and lovely. The food is also very good. They are always ready to make changes if I ask them to. The manager is really friendly and he is always available to talk and discuss our needs. We are
happy with the facilities provided. They organise activities every day and encourage my husband to take part in them. My husband is really happy staying here.

Moving my elderly mother to Carlton Court Care Home was never going to be easy, however, the management and staff went out of their way to make the process as stress-free as possible.
From our initial enquiry to move day, they thought of everything. On arrival, the staff made sure my mum was welcomed
and made comfortable.
As a family, we feel Carlton Court will do their best for our mum.

My mother, aged 96, spent a month at Carlton Court Care Home for respite care recently. Her room was beautifully clean and well-fitted out, including an en-suite shower room.
On visiting her, she was clearly being wonderfully cared for. Her hair had been done at the on-site hairdressers, her nails
had been painted by one of the staff and she looked lovely.
Mum's memory is poor so on her return home we were delighted to be given pictures of the activities she had joined in with during her stay.
Mum herself said that the staff were all wonderful and that she couldn't have wished for anywhere better to stay if she wasn't at home.
We would be very happy to repeat the experience and feel reassured to know Carlton Court is the right place for Mum.
