Can't praise the staff and care my wife receives highly enough, the place feels welcoming from the moment you walk through the doors.
The staff are always smiling and attentive to the needs of patients and visitors.


I go home each time knowing my wife is receiving the best of care.

My mother spent the last two and a half years of her life in the Poppy unit at Autumn Vale Care Centre. She was very well looked after and the care staff were compassionate and cheerful with her. The care home was friendly and welcoming. The staff gave Mum the help she needed and kept her happy.

My mother moved into Autumn Vale Care Centre after a short spell in hospital for a 28-day assessment. Sadly, she passed away during this time. I couldn't have asked for a better place for her to be. The staff were hard-working, friendly, compassionate and really caring, they treated my mother with sensitivity
and dignity right through to the end of her life. Thank you Autumn Vale.

We found the facilities to be of very high level and the staff to be immediately attentive when needed and discreet and careful otherwise. Keeping a close eye on the residents and visitors without being Intrusive. The staff were always available to answer any questions we had, openly and clearly.

My aunt's situation was complicated. The staff worked with me in a very short space of time to find the best package for the best benefit to my aunt's well-being.
They were kind, warm and considerate and as old people, like all of us one day, need to feel love and attention and I feel comfortable leaving
my aunt here.

Dropped in unannounced to see the facilities and was warmly welcomed. The room was light and clean. A lovely peaceful place for my husband to spend his last few days. The staff were always helpful, friendly and caring. We were delighted with the care received at Autumn Vale and would thoroughly recommend

My dad came to Autumn Vale after a short spell in hospital, for a 28-day assessment. He passed away during this time, but I couldn't have asked for a better place for him to be. He was treated with sensitivity and dignity throughout. The staff were all thoughtful, intelligent and gentle in their care
of him and our family. We spent his last afternoon with him thanks to the good communication, patience and kindness of the staff team.

The first impression I got of Autumn Vale Care Centre was how welcoming the home was, it's beautifully decorated, very light and airy, always with fresh flowers and a friendly smile from the carers and office staff alike. The variation in food could be better, it is very repetitious. Although I visit
the home every other day, I cannot comment on activities, I have never experienced any. The gardens are always kept well-maintained and car parking is good. On the whole, I am satisfied with the home and yes, I would be happy to recommend it's care provided.

My mother stayed at Autumn Vale Care Home for six weeks until she could move closer to home and family. Otherwise, I would have been extremely happy for her to have stayed on. All members of staff knew who she was and their level of care - excellent. The management team were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Overall, Autumn Vale Care Centre has a lovely caring and professional set-up.

My mother was admitted to Autumn Vale Care Centre from hospital in January 2022. Covid restrictions were in place which made for an awkward introduction. I was unhappy about a number of government restrictions but I understood the policies the care home undertook and the reason for them. Regardless
of my own feelings, it was the best option for my mother and this has proven to be more than true. The longer I see how she is looked after the more respect I have for the staff and what they do. Autumn Vale Care Centre has given excellent care to Mum and they have helped her through a difficult time. The staff at all levels have been kind, friendly and helpful and do their utmost for the residents. My mother has been a resident for fifteen months, her health continues to improve. The most important aspect of this review is that Mum is content, she is happy to be here and has no wish to live anywhere else.

My father was admitted to Autumn Vale from hospital, already suffering from advanced dementia and leukaemia, for the final six weeks of his life. Right from the off, the staff at Autumn Vale helped in sorting out my father’s care very sensitively, quickly recognising the need for and facilitating additional
one-to-one care so that he had personal company and attention throughout the day. I would like to thank all the staff and management for looking after my father with genuine compassion and dignity. It was a great reassurance to the family to know that my father was being so well looked after.

I live in Australia and have not seen my mum for five years. I have now been able to travel to the UK to see her. The change and improvement in her general health and attitude are outstanding. The staff at Autumn Vake have worked hard to look after her, especially one who has done so much to look after
