Autumn Vale Care Centre is a wonderful nursing home, the staff were all so caring towards my husband and his needs. Autumn Vale is a very fresh, clean and welcoming place.
The manager is also very caring and will always stop for a chat and to make sure everything is ok with us as well as with my husband.

I am extremely happy with all aspects of Autumn Vale. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at all levels and whilst not in any way decrying previous managers, the new manager had made an immediate impression on everybody in the best possible way and I hope he stays with us for a very long time.
I couldn't wish for a better place for my wife except for home and back to her former self.

I found that the staff were very pleasant and helpful not only to myself but in dealing with all the residents - including my sister.
So well run. Hopefully, when I need to have respite care it would be my favourite place.

I was cared for in a very professional manner. The staff were very kind and helped in every way. I was treated well. I had a choice of food and it was always good food. The activities were designed for the oldies with dementia and strokes, but there was always some sort of entertainment such as music
(singer). There was physio, hairdressers etc. The manager was available every day if he was needed. I was never left on my own unless I requested it.

My mother always receives the best care over and above expectations. The staff work hard to keep the residents comfortable. They always have a ready smile and encouraging word for both residents and visitors. I am amazed at the patience they display and the way they go about mundane routines with enthusiasm.
My mother suffers from severe dementia but it is clear that she is happy here. Indeed she tells me she is happy. She recognises the carers and always comments, in her own way, that they are 'good to her or nice'. I feel confident that my Mother is looked after well here. The staff genuinely care about the residents and it is clear they form bonds and yet are still professional.

I came here in December 2017. I was a mass of fears and phobias because of the previous 2 years experiences in July.
As soon as I was admitted here the staff began to treat me with infinite care and tolerated all my problems i.e panic attacks, blackout and much more. They were kind patient and tolerant.
The direct result of this treatment is that now a few months later, I have been helped out of this psychological forest and am almost my self again.
This is a true statement of my experience here.

A professional and caring environment with diligent nursing care. The room is clean and modern. The general impression is of a caring environment with nurses and carers demonstrating a cheerful and encouraging approach with due care and attention to entertainment and involvement. The barbeque was appreciated
together with numerous other special occasions including the garden party for The Royal Wedding on May 19th.

I think this is a very nice home for an elderly person to spend their twilight years. I myself have only been placed here for 6 weeks to convalesce, but have found my stay pleasing in all aspects. The staff are very helpful - nothing seems to be too much trouble for them, they are courteous and friendly
and always reply to a 'thank you' with 'your welcome'. There's a lot of friendly banter and laughter between the users and the staff.

My Mum was at Autumn Vale for the last months of her life. The staff were welcoming and warm to me whenever I visited.
The carers and nurses treated my Mum with great care, respect and patience. They took pains to make sure she was eating and drinking – providing her with food that she was more likely
to eat and helping and encouraging her to eat it. And they did this despite being constantly busy with the demands of other residents: managing to stay calm, compassionate and focused on their very long shifts.
Some of the carers would pop in to see Mum at the start and end of their shifts if they were working on other wings, or just to exchange a few words during the course of the day. This friendliness made such a difference to my Mum’s quality of life.
The nurses who were on duty during Mum’s last few days were compassionate, attentive and carefully professional - helping to make sure that Mum's last days were comfortable and free from distress.

I cannot recommend this care home highly enough. My dad is so well cared for, he is happy and content. The carers are all doing a fantastic job and my dad likes them all. The nurses are really looking after him well. It is clean, friendly and welcoming. The management is good too, very efficient and

The care my mother-in-law receives is of a good standard in the main. She is always clean and she seems happy most of the time. My only complaint is noticing if her nails or eyes need attention. They will do it if we ask but we would be happier if they noticed before we have to tell them. Her carers
are very good with her. She is always happy when they are around. We don't think she would have survived this long without their care.

My husband who suffers from Alzheimer's was moved to Autumn Vale after being in hospital for seven weeks after suffering from sepsis.
He was unable to walk, is doubly incontinent and unable to feed himself.
The was no possibility of him coming home, so we have to find him a nursing home. Luckily
we picked Autumn Vale.
We have been pleased with the way he has been treated, even though he has only been here for three weeks, nothing seems too much trouble.
They have also looked after me and my family with empathy and kindness at a very difficult time.
