My mother and father were admitted in an emergency crisis situation. The staff were wonderful, helpful, supportive and reassuring. Everyone is professional and I am happy and confident that my father who has complex needs will be cared for with respect and dignity. My mother was there for one week and
it did her good to be pampered and looked after. The food is excellent, the decor calm and relaxing, the grounds are beautiful. Staff second to none. I have already recommended Sutherland Court.

My sister has a number of persistent ailments causing considerable pain and discomfort, and so she has her good days and bad days. The staff are supportive and caring and relationships with my sister are generally caring and consistent. Medical and support services are accessed as and when required.
Relationships with other residents are usually positive although minor misunderstandings can occur. Overall, my sister is pleased with the care and support she received day by day.

The overall conditions of Sutherland Court is good and the staff are very caring. The entertainment is however very limited due to having no replacement for the entertainments manager who is on maternity leave. The food menu and the standard of the food is not always up to scratch.

Our family has always felt our mother has been well cared for in this care home, and well looked after. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and genuinely care about the residents. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. My only issue is the move
around of staff. The Crane Suite needs more experienced staff and the continuity.

My mother has only been at Sutherland Court for a few months but has been made very welcome by everyone. All the staff are caring and treat my mother with dignity and respect. We had mixed feelings about putting my mother into care but we now know we made the right choice by choosing Sutherland Court.
