Albion Court care home is a multicultural home situated in Winson Green, Birmingham. They offer residential, dementia, nursing and respite care. The home provides high-quality care in a homely environment, all bedrooms are en suite and you can personalise these with your own items.

The team warmly welcome couples or companions to continue their care journey together in the care home.

They offer a wide range of activities to promote your health and well being, ranging from exercise sessions, yoga, book club, gardening and modern technology such as Skype. Residents can also have their hair done in the hairdressers which is open daily in the home. There are plenty of cosy lounge areas, offering the perfect social environment.

I am the grandaughter of one of the residents, the staff are playful to us and him. When he needs a change they preserve his dignity and privacy by asking us to leave the room. The staff are lovely to speak to, they offer us a drink. They help when we ask them to. Overall I would recommend this care
home, as lovely staff, a lovely view and they have a few fun activities for the residents. I am happy he is in good hands.

This residential home is welcoming, clean, modern and friendly. The people are so lovely to speak to, the staff are helpful. The food is good, staff are helpful all the time. Altogether a very nice place.

I visited my grandad today, all the staff said hello to me and was very friendly. We got outside and the nurse asked if we wanted a drink and gave my grandad some apple juice. I was speaking with Grandad and the nurses were talking and dancing with the other patients, it was so lovely to see the care
and joy in their faces. I am very pleased with the service my grandad is receiving and the laughs he gets to have with the nurses.

Good overall experience with Albion Court, the staff especially two in particular, laughing and joking. Care staff do all excellent jobs and are polite, understanding and caring. The head of house is very polite and kind towards my grandmother.

Mom has been at Albion Court for two and a half years and in that time we have found the staff very helpful and polite. Any problems are dealt with straight away and nothing is too much trouble. Mom has made many friends during her stay.

There is a good team working on my mother's floor and I am kept well-informed and feel able to ask questions about her medical care. Staff are respectful and will always knock if the door to Mum's room is closed. Although quite a few of the residents need a lot of oversight and attention, there is always
time for everyone. I think it would be good if management had a formal one-to-one with residents' next of kin on a half-yearly basis. This would allow for feedback on more generic areas as well as specific floors.

The staff are very kind and attentive, supporting Mom in all her needs. They are very patient and understanding which helps when Mom decides to stay awake at night or believes she is their boss, giving instructions. Mom has settled in well and is well looked after, giving my family reassurance that
Mom is safe and well cared for during the difficulties of dementia.

My sister has now been at Albion Court Care Home for two months. I have been visiting her regularly at the care home. I have been impressed with the care given. I have found the home to be pleasant, clean and have good decor. There is a peaceful atmosphere. The staff are polite, smartly dressed in uniform
and easily accessible. We have unlimited access to my sister from 10 am til 4 pm. Presently, we are discussing my sister's daily activities. She is satisfied with the catering service.

The home is well run and organised. My father has settled well during a difficult phase of his life. All staff have facilitated the transition demonstrating a high level of care and empathy. Any concerns that have been raised were dealt with efficiently and promptly. For all of the above reasons, I

My partner's father is very well looked after and the accommodation he is in is better than some five-star hotels. Everything the residents require is available and there is a good mix of activities that the residents can be involved in. The staff are excellent and a credit to the nursing home. If I
was in a nursing home, this would be the one I would be in.

My father has been cared for by very attentive staff, who ensure his every need is cared for. The home itself is well run and very clean. The decision to move our mother into residential care was a difficult one, choosing which care home even more so. Albion Court Care Home proved to be the perfect fit. All of the staff went above and beyond to help Mom settle into her new surroundings, which she has done very quickly.

Throughout these difficult times, the manager and the administrator have been wonderful and coping with whatever is thrown at them.
The satisfactory rating for 'Value for Money' is no indication of your costs. I just find it despicable that caring for Dementia patients has to be private-funded.

Familiar with care home on a professional and personal basis. The staff are extremely polite and their smiles make me feel relaxed and reassured. The environment is really clean with no foul smells lurking around. As a family, we are very impressed with Albion Court, with their online presence, video

My mother became a resident of Albion Court in January 2021 and has really settled into the care home environment having lived independently by herself for over 40 years. Albion Court is a spacious, calm, welcoming, clean and tidy care home. Mother always comment on how lovely, helpful, and caring all
the staff are with her and with the other residents. The Activities Team works very hard to ensure residents are kept occupied by organising various daily events, for example, resident appropriate exercises, seated tai chi, craftwork, preparing food for birds, etc. Although mother's family were unable to visit her due to the Covid lockdown, we had many enjoyable conversations with her by telephone or Skype calls and now two of her nominated children are able to visit her in the home. I have found the management and her support team very approachable, accommodating and I would personally like to thank them all for looking after and caring for my mother.

Job Title: Home Manager

Hello, my name is Beverley, and I am delighted to be the Home Manager here at Albion Court.


I have 40 years of experience within the healthcare sector and have achieved qualifications such as the Management level 4 Registered Manager's Award. Working in residential and nursing settings, my previous roles have been as an Operations Manager and a Nurse.


Within this time, I have shared many treasurable moments with the residents I have had the pleasure to meet along the way. One proud moment that has stayed with me throughout my career was when I was able to reunite one of my residents with their brother, who had lost contact and not seen each other for 15 years. To their surprise, they found out they had only been living a few miles apart the whole time.


I would best describe myself as someone who is very outgoing, warm and welcoming and always wanting the best for the home. I pride myself in providing a high-quality service to all residents ensuring they receive an exceptional level of care and have a fun, enjoyable life here at Albion Court. In my spare time, I enjoy going on holiday, meeting with friends for meals out and spending time with my family.
