My son resided at Hampton House for 4 years.
My son came home with regular bruising, 1 bruising incident was so bad we had to call the police.
When I complained to the Manager I got an email saying s***s going to hit the fan. (Clearly, the email wasn't meant for me).
On another occasion, my son's
money tin at the home was tampered with. Hampton House had to call the police to investigate their staff.
Very unprofessional staff confrontational. On one occasion after me phoning the home to see how my son was during covid they hadn't put the receiver down properly and a lot of inappropriate language was heard.
One worker confronted us saying we couldn't sing a certain song to our son.
Not a place to leave your vulnerable loved ones.

Reply from Elsie Howes, Office Administrator at Hampton House

Hampton House welcomes feedback of all kinds and has always been transparent in dealing with any issues as and when they are raised. All of the concerns referred to in this review have been shared with the appropriate bodies including regulators and safeguarding teams, and have been satisfactorily concluded. There are robust quality assurance systems that continuously monitor the quality of service provision, which include matters relating to keeping people safe and helping people to live their lives as they choose. This is further verified by external quality assurance measures implemented by regulators and commissioners. In general, relationships with relatives and professionals are very positive, as evidenced by the recent satisfaction questionnaire results which yielded 100% positivity. The home offers excellent quality person-centred care and support to vulnerable adults and continually strives to facilitate outstanding outcomes for the people that we support.
