It was a relief to find such a modern, smart nursing home with such high standards of care and support.
My father has very advanced Alzheimers and requires one to one care which Cambridge Manor excel at. I have complete confidence in their care and handling of my father.

Mum is currently being beautifully cared for in the 'Memory Loss' Unit on the First Floor of Cambridge Manor.
I have been deeply impressed by the skill, thoughtfulness and humanity of the staff on this Unit.


It is obvious that the staff have a thorough understanding of the numerous and complicated

difficulties, deficits and challenges faced by these residents, and on a daily basis, I have watched care being delivered with respect, kindness and compassion.


It has been a huge relief to our family to find Cambridge Manor Care Home for Mum, in this sad and tricky part of her life.

The care Mum received at Cambridge Manor was exceptional, Mum was an extremely independent person who loved company and doing as much as she could for herself. Residents are encouraged to participate in a full diary of activities and staff did all they could to accommodate Mum's preferences and needs.
I think that's what stands out for me is that each person is treated as an individual and every aspect of Mum's care was well managed whilst maintaining her independence. As Mum settled it was very apparent that she no longer felt lonely or anxious, something that she had struggled with despite having many friends whilst living on her own. The care she received from all the staff that she interacted with was heartwarming. I am so relieved that Mum spent her final months in a place where the staff have real and genuine love and concern as well as the support they provided us as a family.

Al was very supportive of his mother's care whilst she was living with us. He worked closely with the nurses and care staff to enable us to give his mother the care best tailored to her needs. She was extremely lucky to have such a caring and supportive son.

As a relatively new care home, it is light and airy. The recent refurbishments provide a welcoming reception area. Some of the staff have been in place for several years which gives important continuity for longer-term residents. The staff are very kind and the care is personalised, going beyond basic
hygiene factors. The nursing staff are always happy to take the time to discuss residents' needs.

The quality of care and communication of Cambridge Manor is excellent. The overall standard of care and cleanliness is second to none and I am very happy with all aspects of my husbands care. I find this care home to be excellent. QAll the staff are caring and you can go to them with any problem. The food here is excellent and as I am a fussy eater, they will cook what I ask for. The care home has a feeling of home about it. I am very pleased to be here and it is like having a second family
but I feel the activities are not as good as they used to be which is disappointing.

I am a resident in this care home so I look after myself pretty well, but the staff keep an eye on me. The only trouble is keeping staff. They have just changed the menu and it is not for the better.

A very pleasant clean and bright building with friendly staff and atmosphere. The facilities and food are excellent not only for residents but for visitors. Minor but necessary maintenance e.g. Dripping tap took some time to rectify but were carried out. Staff took any concerns from relatives very seriously
and acted quickly and explained any actions where required.

I am very happy with my 94-year-old mother's stay at Cambridge Manor. The environment is friendly and warm and my mother is well cared for. The nursing staff and carers provide a safe and cosy retreat where every consideration for my mother's needs is catered for with attention and a smile.

Although my mother in law has not been in Cambridge Manor for long, I am already very impressed with her care.


The staff are wonderful, so patient, caring and kind, not only with my mother in law but with us as well. She has made better progress than we could have hoped for at this stage, which

is down to the care she is receiving. The food is delicious and it is so lovely that my father in law can join her for lunch. She is very comfortable and settled but it is definitely down to the staff that she is happy. They are led from the front by the wonderful manager who is a delight and makes everyone feel welcome, supported and cared for.

The staff are always pleasant and friendly and the care mum receives is of a high standard.


There are lots of 'common areas' and a nice garden as well.
