Aire View Care Home in Kirkstall is one of two Avery homes based in Leeds. It has been serving Yorkshire for the past ten years with residential, dementia and respite services and has gained top quality status from Leeds City Council.

The home warmly welcomes couples or companions to continue their care journey together.

The standard of excellence is reflected in the one-to-one care and holistic attention given to all residents, whatever their needs.

Families are also offered support and encouraged to join in the life of the home.

The home offers a variety of facilities open to residents daily. They can catch a film in the home's cinema or pamper themselves by having their hair and nails done in the hair salon and nail bar. If it's a bit of downtime that the residents require, then they can take full advantage of the relaxation room. The café offers the perfect place for residents to catch up over a coffee or a cup of tea with relatives or fellow residents.

A minibus enables residents to get out and about. Residents visit the local theatre, pubs, garden centres and can even make a trip to the Leeds Liverpool canal.

One of the most difficult things is leaving a loved one in the care of others. Aire View has always been approachable and caring in the way they deal with us as a family. I feel able to put my trust in the staff who care for my mum and are more than grateful for the peace of mind they give me.

The home is doing a very good job of looking after my mum. She is treated kindly and with respect. Mum is generally in a confused state, but the staff work hard to reassure her. The Covid situation has made things difficult and I'm very impressed with how the home and staff have managed the impact.

Mum has been very happy and well-cared for since she moved into Aire View in 2018. As a family, we've been impressed with the help and support she has received. The key thing for us is that she feels safe and comfortable. The garden visits are a great way to safely meet relatives in this uncertain/difficult

Since my grandma moved into Aire View in the summer of 2019 she has made lots of new friends. She enjoys the activities and the meals provided.
Staff are always happy to listen to you when you want to speak with someone. We feel that our grandma is safe and well cared for. Her health has improved
and overall wellbeing. As a family, we would recommend Aire View 100%.

My mother resided on the dementia floor at Aire View, until she recently passed away. She spent four very happy years there and was very well looked after and cared for. I rang her most days and she always sounded happy and cheerful. When I visited she was always smiling. The staff are dedicated and
professional despite the very long hours they work! They treat the residents with dignity and respect and help them to maintain their independence for as long as possible. The end of life care my mother received was unprecedented; nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Aire View is a lovely place with beautiful gardens, but at the end of the day it's all the staff that make it an outstanding home and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

As for me and mum this is our first experience of mum having respite care and we have had a wonderful time. As her daughter is has given me peace of mind that if she should need full-time care this is the place to be.

For the past year, my mum was a resident in your care home. Unfortunately, she passed away very recently. I would just like to say all the management and staff, they could not do enough for Mum. She was very well cared for, her room was lovely. Everyone who works there is very friendly. We as a family

Excellent staff, helpful and very nice lovely food. Excellent hairdresser. Lovely garden.
My mother-in-law really enjoyed her 2 weeks of respite but would have appreciated an opportunity to go out on a trip once a week.

The staff at Aire View treat my mother in such a lovely, caring way. Since arriving at the home from a previous home she has been removed from all her psychotic drugs and they manage her dementia. I feel my mother is in a safe, caring and secure unit.

Staff: Good, but some staff slack - not on the ball.


Activities: The two activity staff are more than excellent.


Safety and security: I always felt Mum was safe but I would recommend all jewellery is removed.

Aire View Care Home is a very pleasant place to visit. The public rooms are very attractively decorated and very meticulously maintained. The gardens are very beautifully planted and give my mother hours of pleasure. The staff are very supportive and helpful and want to listen. They supported me as

My brother has only been at Aire View Care Home for a short time but he has settled really well and tells me he is happy there. He is always clean and tidy when we visit, no matter what time of day it is. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would feel confident in recommending

I have visited a friend at Aire View for just over two years. The staff are really friendly on all levels and will stop and talk to you. The home is spotlessly clean. The food I have seen served looks very good and I would be happy to recommend the home to people that need care.
