We are looking at implementing more 1-1 well-being sessions for residents who would benefit from these sessions, and we have purchased some headphones so Mum can enjoy and participate in the group quiz.

Thank you for your positive review of Foxton Court and I am really pleased to note your comment that when there have been any issues raised, they have been addressed immediately, I will pass this message onto our staff team. The tea trolley should always be served both mornings and afternoons, every day, we hope to have continuity of times when we take the tea trolley to the residents, but it has been noted that on occasion the tea trolley has been delivered later than we would like and this has been addressed with the catering team, so we hope you will see the improvement the next time you come to visit. Whilst we continue our efforts to recruit to a Wellbeing Co-ordinator, the staff team are working together with residents to put together activities they enjoy, and some residents also make use of the minibus for weekly trips.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Joanne has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Joanne closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Foxton Court.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Joanne remarked:
“There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing that we are providing the best possible quality of life and care for Residents.”
In her spare time, Joanne enjoys keeping active with long walks in the countryside and going to the gym.
