I would like to thank the staff for the kindness, patience and understanding they showed my husband during his stay. He was very lucky to be cared for so well in such beautiful surroundings. I loved that his room overlooked the gardens.

Delighted with the care that my brother receives at Foxton Court. He is settled, happy, stress-free and has steadily gained weight since his arrival in June 2018. All the staff show great patience and care and interact with him all the time. Thanks to all the excellent care my brother receives.

My father has lived at Foxton Court for over 2 years. It is a friendly caring home. All of the staff are kind and dedicated to looking after the residents. Family and friends (and pets) are made to feel very welcome.
There is a wide range of activities although my father chooses not to participate
very often. Overall an excellent care home.

Foxton Court is now home to my Mother. She has been here since August 2019. Mother does have her problems but is not too bad, and I have to say the staff always do listen. Attention to Mother is good and Foxton is always clean. Food is good.

My father-in-law liked the care home so much he didn't want to come home. He liked all the staff, the meals, his room. I would recommend the care home to anyone it is the best care home we have ever seen. Very good. Can't praise the home enough!

I had a well-furnished, comfortable, single bedroom, with built-in toilet facilities and a bath/shower room close by. The staff were most considerate and helpful, showing great concern and care for the seriously handicapped and elderly folk in their care. The excellent set meals in the restaurant offer
main course choices, whilst between meals both hot and cold drinks and snacks are brought to one's room if required. Attention is given to physical well-being and greatly appreciated. The regular physical exercises effectively and sympathetically directed in a sitting room. Staff are available to assist with bath or shower as required. I appreciated a visit from a podiatrist to attent to my toenails. On two days per week, a hairdresser is available for those of us lucky enough to have some hair left to cut. I was made most welcome, and was encouraged to bring and play my electric keyboard. Varied entertainments are arranged and much appreciated, and I was delighted to be asked to help celebrate the end of the old year and entry of 2020.

Very clean pleasant surroundings. Few teething problems initially with special meal requirements and sometimes it appeared staff shortages however good quality meals and caring staff.

We are absolutely delighted with all aspects of Foxton Court Care Home. All staff are professional, caring and kind and within the first few weeks, we saw a huge improvement in my brother's general wellbeing and physical condition. Our mother has been resident at Foxton Court for over 8 years. We are very pleased with the care she receives - the staff are attentive and hard-working, and we are very grateful to them for taking care of Mum. We also appreciate being made welcome ourselves on our daily visits. For the most part, the
food is good, but we are looking forward to seeing more warm puddings during the winter months! A bowl of tinned fruit, or a small mousse, straight out of the fridge is not really the thing for a cold and dark November evening!

My mum has had very good care here, since she arrived (over eight years ago). Due to her ill health, she has deteriorated in her abilities, independence and mental capacity. The home has liaised with GP, district nurses and other professionals to help mum as each new stage is reached. The staff make
my family welcome as we visit mum.

My Mum has settled into Foxton very well over 6 months. The staff are very caring and attentive and always treat with utmost dignity. The facilities are good and activities are very enjoyable giving the residents plenty of opportunity to interact. Each week the trip out is very looked forward to. The
rooms are comfortable and homely, being cleaned every day. The whole package has been a good experience for all the family.

Joanne Bulford

Job Title: Home Manager

“For me, kind care is making every moment count for Residents and their loved ones.”


As a dedicated healthcare professional, Joanne has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Joanne closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Foxton Court.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Joanne remarked:


“There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing that we are providing the best possible quality of life and care for Residents.”


In her spare time, Joanne enjoys keeping active with long walks in the countryside and going to the gym.
