Visitors welcome, encouraged to avoid meal times if possible and after 8pm when residents may be relaxing in their nightwear.
Parking is available on site. Visitors asked if they park on the local roads to be courteous to neighbours.

Firstly please accept my condolences, I appreciate this must be a difficult time for you. I am extremely disappointed that you have had a negative experience during the short time your mother stayed with us. I can confirm the situation you mentioned in your review was fully investigated and the appropriate action was taken. My colleague who investigated this did speak to you and explained she was unable to share the outcome of the investigation due to GDPR. Our aim is to provide the best possible care to those we support, and it is something we take very seriously. Once again, we are very sorry that you feel the experience did not meet your expectations.

I started my career in care over 20 years ago as a Care Assistant I knew instantly I wanted to build a career in the care industry and from then I progressed to a Team Leader, Deputy Manager and started my role as a Home Manager 12 years ago. I have experience in managing both nursing and residential homes and always strive to deliver the very best person-centred care. I was attracted to New Care Homes as I liked their ethos, vision and values and from the moment I stepped into Ashlands for my interview I felt at home. I am committed to continuing to provide person-centred, dignified and quality care in my role here and to putting the residents at the forefront of what we do, whilst supporting a fantastic team of staff.
Job Title: Home Trainer
I admire the difference New Care makes to the residents we all look after. In the two and a half years I've worked with New Care, I have had two promotions and the company have supported me in gaining extra qualifications and experience, which I admire New Care for, they go above and beyond for both the residents and staff members. As the home trainer, I enjoy the flexibility of the work, meeting a variety of different staff members and showing them just what an amazing company they have come to work for. I admire how New Care stick to its core values, and is represented in everything we all do. They really do make a difference.
