Excellent care home, although Mam was only there for a short time the care she received was amazing. Mam loved them all and we are all so grateful that her time in Roseville was a great experience, not only for Mam but the family and the support I received was amazing. She had just started to settle
and was looking forward to her time getting to know everyone. Unfortunately, she did not get to experience all the facilities and activities.

The staff in residential dementia care were fabulous, very professional and made my father in law feel at home. He really enjoyed his time doing different activities and especially the friend he made, one of the residents, he did a lot of chatting and activities with. My father in law contracted Covid
from the hospital, he was sent home to Roseville on end of life. The staff were so caring especially his carers.

My dad was taken to Roseville Care Centre in June 2020. The staff have been excellent with my dad and up to the end of life showed care and compassion to myself and my family at this very difficult time. Due to Covid restrictions obviously, we would have like to visit more but unable to do this. Thanks
to all the staff as all were brilliant.

On the whole, 95% of the staff were fantastic. I do feel that more training is required when dealing with patients with specific needs who do not have dementia (ie) Parkinsons and their hallucinations. Agency staff were not satisfactory overall. This is meant as constructive criticism, not a complaint.
I repeat that 95% of the staff were fantastic.

The care my father received from all staff, especially on the nursing unit was outstanding. Staff showed respect, love and excellent care throughout the seven years of residence. This was especially so during Fathers final days. Staff were compassionate and sympathetic to us as a family leading up to
and during Fathers passing. I cannot thank the staff enough for their care to my father and family during very difficult times.

My father has been a resident in the care home for over 2 years now as he suffers from dementia. From the moment he arrived the care he has received from every member of staff has been excellent. He is treated with respect and his carers treat him like he is family. His every need is met with kindness
and consideration. He is very content which reassures us as a family. The management of the home is excellent especially now through the current difficult times.

Very professional and caring team. The team are working in very difficult times, but nothing seems to be any trouble to them in the care they give to the residents. My Mum needs nursing care and the detail and attention Mum is receiving are excellent. I feel well informed about Mum's progress and needs.

I cannot fault any of the care and facilities at Roseville despite my mother being reluctant to in, they have persevered and made her most welcome. They have gone above and beyond to make her so comfortable as possible especially in her final days. All the family have been here for the last few days
and they can't do enough for us. Tea, coffee, food, extra chairs, literally nothing has been too much despite their workload. The staff are exceptional, dressing up and always cheerful. It is a wonderful atmosphere even in the darkest of times.

My mother moved to the home because of medical issues related to vascular dementia, it was a very challenging time for all family members. Roseville provided a reassuringly high level of care via dedicated staff who were well trained in both elderly care and in particular dementia care. All the staff
were friendly and welcoming to all visitors. My mother's room was comfortable and homely. Sadly my mother's health gradually deteriorated because of the dementia, but the staff explored every avenue to ensure she was comfortable. I would like to express our thanks to all the wonderful staff. Roseville is an excellent Care Home.

Although my mother was only with Roseville for 9 months, her care was outstanding. The staff always went above and beyond their roles. I always felt that they took a personal interest and care in my mother. I could never thank them enough, right up until Mum passed away. Even the Manager took great
interest in her. I feel lucky that I chose this care home for Mum.

My mum spent the last ten months of her life on the nursing unit at Roseville. Mum received the very best of care from every member of staff who engaged with her, and she was treated at all times with dignity and understanding.
I cannot fault any aspect of Roseville, it was always clean, friendly
and extremely welcoming, and when mum called it her home a couple of months before she passed away my sister and I knew we had made a good choice.

I started my career path working in a solicitors at the age of 18 as office junior then in accounts after many years I decided I wanted to change career so went on to do home care, I had heard about Roseville as I had a friend who was a previous employer so applied as care assistant I started as a care assistant and eventually worked my way to a sensor, then asked to move on to the dementia Suite as senior after a couple of years working as senior I was promoted to unit manager I progressed my knowledge by doing as much training as I could. I completed my level 3 then went into do my level 5 as well as chaps after a while I moved back onto ground floor as unit manager and worked hard to gain a good bond with staff and residents. It has also been my desire to continue to develop in my career and I have recently been promoted to Deputy Home Manager at Roseville.

Stephanie Mohan

I have always had a passion for nursing and have over 18years experience working in the care sector both private and NHS. I first started out working as a domiciliary support worker, then worked as a care assistant in a nursing home to which I then decided I wanted to complete my general nursing degree. I then went on to work in an acute setting working with dementia and elderly care patients as a health care assistant whilst completing my nursing degree. When qualified as a nurse I began working on a busy admissions unit caring for unwell adults with acute and chronic conditions, to then A&E, working my way up to clinical sister managing life threatening, acute and chronic illness’s. I have lots of skills which I have gained during my time as a nurse and completed several courses such as reading ECG’s, advanced life support, clinical skills and leadership and management. It was then I decided that I wanted to enhance my knowledge and skills and take on a more managerial role working as a clinical lead in a care home setting.
I am very passionate about my role and always strive to ensure that the residents/patients in my care receive the highest level of care and support. I also feel that it is essential to include families, gain trust and build good relationships so that person centered care can be achieved at its best.
