Have been very pleased with the service provided by all the Acacia staff. Have found them to be very friendly, caring, professional when looking after my father, as well as being very respectful. I sing their praises all the time. The manager and her team do an excellent job of running the care home.
Cannot thank them enough. My father would not be here without their support.

My father has been at Acacia Lodge for over 6 years. Within the 6 years, he has been cared for, loved, and kept safe by both the management team and all of the various teams of staff who work at Acacia. Whether the teams are the carers, activities, housekeeping and laundry, administration, maintenance,
and of course the second to none restaurant-quality food and service team who are all supported by the excellent management structure, helps to make why Acacia Lodge remains to be the best care provider and care home within the area. The whole world is currently suffering due to the pandemic but Acacia Lodge has kept my Dad safe and well throughout these trying times.

When my mother first moved into this home I was very worried for her, all the stories you hear, but Acacia Lodge proved that not all care homes are bad. The staff have been brilliant looking after my mam and putting the family at ease. Always ready to answer your questions and any queries. The food
and accommodation is perfect. They have protected her 100% through this bad time of covid. Would highly recommend Acacia Lodge.

My Dad came to your home last May after a 'stint' in hospital. He was not at his best, but I am happy to say he seems generally content, well-groomed and anything we request is usually always followed through for him. My siblings and myself are very satisfied with his care due to your staff's dedication
and patience. Visited Dad at 'Pod' last week. Great experience! So much easier to see Dad and to communicate. Overall very satisfied with Acacia's service and can't wait to meet all the staff and explore the home's facilities when such times allow. Thank you all so much for your care.

Visit today to see Dad was lovely in the pod, lovely and clean, safe and easy process. Not seen dad for a few months because of COVID but he looks well looked after. Thank you to all the staff that care and to one member of staff in particular for making the visit possible.

Mum moved into Acacia Lodge in September 2020, when she was 102 years old. She settled in very quickly, who wouldn't! The surroundings are lovely and the staff are first class. On every level, we have found her care to be extremely good. She celebrated her 103rd birthday in October, and the staff threw
a wonderful party for her. To be honest, she is treated like a queen, nothing is too much trouble and she is extremely happy.

My father moved in here in June last year. Despite his fear of being in a care home he settled in very quickly and initially joined in the wide variety of activities that the staff provide. As his dementia progressed he lashed out a few times at people, nevertheless the staff’s attitude was always “what
is upsetting him?” and “what helps?”. This is indicative of the total focus that staff have on improving their residents lives, day to day. I have been deeply impressed by the care, compassion and professionalism that every member of staff have shown my father, and other residents.
He passed away recently and, despite this being a sad time, going to the home to collect his belongings was made easier by the kindness of staff and other relatives who knew my dad.
