Bloomfield Court is a contemporary residential and dementia care home located in the heart of the Tipton community. It continues to welcome new residents, both on a permanent and respite basis.

The home is operated by Anchor and provides dementia care, which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life.

The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Anchor provides dementia care and also offer on-going training to care staff to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

We found the home very good. Food was good. Majority of the staff were very good, they cared for our brother very well. Clean and tidy. Our only problem was the GP that looks after the residents. Despite staff phoning them I dont think the GP came out to check him.

Clean, well-presented care home and staff. Facilities are always kept clean, tidy, and maintained. The staff are wonderful, helpful, happy, and welcoming, they always go the extra mile for all residents ensuring their well-being, health, care needs, and needs are met. They tailor their care to the individual
needs of the residents ensuring to take into account the resident's personality and interests. The care home has a family vibe as one big house and not a clinical feeling.

The carers in this care home are excellent. The home keeps in touch with family at all times. The home is a friendly place for the residents with many activities on in the daytime. Families are made welcome and it is also pet-friendly. All rooms are kept clean.

My wife became a resident in January 2020 and she passed away September 2023. In all the time she was at Bloomfield Court Care Home, I never had one occasion to complain. The treatment given to my wife was superb. The staff were outstanding and the care, compassion and dignity given to the residents
were superb. We were always contacted with issues, when opinions were sought and we were included in every facet of my wife's care. My thanks and my family's to them all.

Some staff are useless and lie about conversations. Staff can be spiteful to residents. Staff on their phones when residents talking to them. Dad's food left to go cold, staff too busy to feed, tidying up after dinner is more important - some staff are fantastic. A lot of good staff here have left work.

Bloomfield Court provides excellent care for my mother. They provide a very professional service and my mother, who has dementia, receives very personal care. They seem to take care to another level and make her feel contented. Cannot fault the home in any way.

I am always welcomed with a cheerful hello and smile. Mom's room is lovely, clean and warm. She is very comfortable. Staff are very helpful, always polite and friendly.

The staff care for the residents as if they are their own families. They know the resident's likes and dislikes and can also tell when they are not behaving in their normal way. It is a very professional but loving environment. The residential home is always clean and the only smells are those of freshly
cooked food. I have no hesitation in recommending this home.

My mother-in-law moved into Bloomfield in Feb 2022 after staying at another care facility since Sept 2021. She suffered with Alzheimer's and had aggressive tendencies which were very apparent in her first care home. Once she was moved to Bloomfield her attitude changed and she got on really well with
all of the staff there. She joined in activities and enjoyed sharing jokes with them. She loved being outside in the garden and interacting with the staff and residents. Her room was spacious and comfortable and we were allowed to decorate it as she wanted. Prior to moving to Bloomfield, my mother-in-law was refusing to eat and was losing weight fast. Once at Bloomfield, she did start eating again and despite being a fussy eater she said she enjoyed the food there and ate well. From July my mother-in-law's health started to decline and she struggled to speak and used hand gestures instead. The staff were very patient and took extra time to communicate with her. During her final days, the staff supported all of us wonderfully.

At first moving in my mum was not happy but over the year Mum is happy most of the time and I have no concerns about her care at the home.

From the onset of visiting the care homes in our area, Bloomfield Court came across as the most professional, caring, and friendly establishment. We were upset about moving our mum into care but the staff reassured us that they would look after our mum and were also very supportive to the family. Although
the transition period was very difficult for us all, the team at Bloomfield made it easier, and our mum has settled better than expected. The care being shown to Mum and the family is exceptional. Since our mum's move into Bloomfields, we have also been impressed with the variety of daily activities and events arranged to keep Mum and the other residents engaged. As a family, we would highly recommend Bloomfield Court.

My mother became a resident at Bloomfield Court at the end of March 2022.
The management was very helpful when we were choosing a residential home for my mother, and the staff are always pleasant and helpful.
The home is always clean and tidy, and the staff have quickly helped my mother to settle
in at the home.
The only negative comment I could make about the home is that the signing out questionnaire takes too long, and if that’s the only negative, then I feel the home is overall performing excellently.

On the whole, the care is good the only thing is to make sure clothes are tagged and hung properly in the wardrobe not thrown in the drawers. The staff are good and approachable and easy to talk to. You can also see they care for my mother-in-law deeply. The home is clean and the room is always tidy.

Each time my mother I am always welcomed by the friendly staff. My mother seems happy therefore I am happy. The staff are always happy to help with anything I ask no matter how busy they are they always have time to speak to me.
My mother has always loved to do a jigsaw and she is still doing them
now with the help of carers which is nice. Glad I stumbled on this home for my mother.

My mom became a resident at Bloomfield Court on the first of October 2021. She has accepted this placement as her new home and tells us all how much she likes it here. Every member of staff I have met has introduced themselves, always with a smile and been happy to discuss and enquiries a new relative
like myself might have. I am able to enjoy my visits with Mum and leave her knowing she will be safe and cared for until I see her again. Thank you to every person who works there.

My Father moved into Bloomfield Court in May 2021. He had a lovely room and the staff was always friendly and polite. He loved the food and couldn’t compliment it enough. Unfortunately, by late September he was at end of life care. The staff were marvellous. They didn’t only look after Dad but my sister
and myself too who were allowed to stay with Dad day and night at the end. They fed us, gave us endless drinks and couldn’t do enough for us. The morning Dad passed away the staff came in, washed Dad, changed his nightwear and treated him with respect and kindness and I will be forever grateful to all of the staff.

It is a pleasure to visit, the staff are wonderful and any questions are answered. My mother feels safe and secure and she likes the staff and the varied menu on offer at mealtimes. She has been encouraged to socialise and chat which is very good for her, but she has also got her privacy if needed.
I have complete peace of mind knowing she is cared for.
