Thank you for your comments. During holiday periods we do see an increase in agency staff at weekends but try to have consistency of those that come. We provide considerable training for staff which does lead to staff looking for promoted posts which is usually in the NHS who offer conditions of service we cannot match. We welcome new enthusiastic and motivated staff to our team.

We have received no complaint formal or informal from the author of this review. However, we have responded to all informal and formal complaints received in line with our complaints procedure. We do not recognise this level of unhappiness with the service from any complaints received. In May 2018 the home had an unannounced Infection Control Inspection where we scored 99%. Therefore we believe that this evidences that cleanliness could not be poor.
We cannot comment directly on value for money, we offer Intermediate Care through the NHS and Council which is free at the point of delivery. Our self-funding rates are in line or lower than other homes in our area. The people who are funded by the Council are charged a client contribution after a council financial assessment, but with a top up that is again in line or lower than other areas within our vicinity.
In the past 8 years, no part of the service has ever been rated poor or very poor.
We do, however, recognise that as a learning organisation that we need to take on board constructive feedback and would invite this person to contact the General Manager directly to discuss further these issues.
