Just a short walk from Priory Park, the Zoological Gardens, and town centre shops and services, Broadway Halls is a modern and spacious residence in the heart of Dudley. The home provides residential, nursing, respite and dementia care. With 83 en-suite bedrooms divided between residential, nursing and dementia communities, professionals think carefully about the type of room each resident needs.

Bedrooms are set across four floors, and each floor has its own living and dining rooms, meaning peace and quiet is never far away. All furnishings and decor throughout the home are of an exceptionally high standard. There is also a landscaped garden with raised flower beds with seating areas, perfect for outdoor socialising.

A varied menu is provided daily by trained chefs, who prepare nutritious, tasty meals on site. Special dietary requirements are catered for, and dining rooms are set to restaurant standard.

The team of dedicated recreation staff plan numerous activities to keep residents engaged and stimulated through regular events and excursions. Participation is encouraged, but entirely optional, and staff do their best to make sure all residents have the means to entertain themselves in private. Relatives and residents are part of the planning process, to ensure everyone's needs and desires are met.

Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Homely feel - well equipped and lovely decoration in the room. The lounge and lunchroom are lovely, bright and inviting. I am very happy with the care and support Nan is receiving.

Both of my grandparents were cared for at Broadway Halls and received outstanding levels of care, My wife's nan is now living here and very happy. It is a fantastic care home and that is a testament to the staff.

My mom came in for respite for two weeks while I went on holiday. Mom loved it, it's nothing like a care home, it's like a hotel.
The staff are very polite and friendly, nothing is too much trouble.
Fabulous place.

Excellent receptionist. Very personal service. Feels like a hotel. Much nicer than other care homes locally in my opinion. Very modern. Very supportive to my mother with a terminal condition.

On the whole, Dad has received excellent care during his 39 months at Broadway Halls.
My only concern is that sometimes messages are not passed on at change over, e.g. recent example on March 26th, I had to take him to an appointment but he was not ready and had not finished his breakfast when I arrived
to pick him up despite me providing at least 3 reminder notes.

The staff are well trained, the building is very good. The food is very good and the cleanliness of a high standard. The cost is very high!

As my relative has only been in care for short time and up to now, can only praise the care that she has received. I am very happy at Broadway Halls and glad I have settled in easily. I enjoy the activities and there is a good selection that varied daily/weekly. The home has a lovely atmosphere and feel included because of the resident meetings. The food is good and varied.

I spent 10 days in Broadway Halls following surgery for kidney removal due to cancer. I simply cannot fault the treatment I received for the duration of my stay. The nursing care was excellent and the loving care received from all the staff was truly amazing.


I was admitted straight from the hospital

to the home following their consultation with the medical team so the level of nursing could be continued.


My sincere thanks to all the staff for their kindness and help they gave me.


I must also mention the excellent food.


Finally, my family and friends were made so welcome. It was truly a lovely experience. Thank you all again. You were brilliant.

My mom was allocated a room at Broadway Halls following the closure of the nursing home she was in five weeks ago. Since the move, she is in a lovely spacious room and has received a high standard of care from a nursing team who appear to be very dedicated. At mealtimes, menus are on the tables, residents
are given a choice, and the food is always homemade and freshly cooked.
I feel my mom has been welcomed at Broadway Halls and settled in quickly. After a 28 days, her place has been made permanent and I’m more than happy!

Prior to my mother being admitted, we visited the Broadway site deliberately without appointment to assess the facility. The friendliness and open approach experienced was very encouraging. Everyone we met, cleaning ladies, receptionists through to the Deputy Manager were positive and welcoming. The
cleanliness and quality of furnishings is clearly evident. Entrusting an aged parent to someone else's care is quite daunting but all the staff, both then and since admission, have been a pleasure to deal with and all requests for assistance have been met positively.

My mum was in respite for 12 weeks with vascular dementia. It was her first ever care home stay (she's 69) and they have been fantastic. Life long depression plagues my mom and she gets very angry and physical, but the staff have been amazing. They used distraction techniques with dignity and manage
to engage with Mom to the point she was happy to see me leave after I visited! You can trust all the staff with your loved one, anytime.

Mam has been twice to Broadway Halls and both times has been looked after very well. I appreciate the visiting times as I work all day and being allowed to call in at any time during the day was excellent. The staff are wonderful, I knew how difficult the residents can be as I have worked in a care
home myself, but never did I see any annoyance from the staff towards anyone.


I wish Mam could go to Broadway Halls on a permanent basis but it is very difficult due to the cost, Mam did enjoy it there even though she said different, every time we visited she was full of praise for everyone.

My mom stayed here in August 2016 for three weeks whilst recovering from a major operation. She was very poorly but was looked after very well by the nursing staff.
The only downside was the food which could have been better.

Thank you for taking the time to look further into what Broadway Halls has to offer to you or your loved one. Here is an opportunity to find out more about our amazing staff team, who all play a vital role in day-to-day life in our home.


I also want to share a little bit about myself. I joined Broadway Halls in February 2023, but I have been a Care Home Manager since 2015, and my career in the health and care sector started in 2007. I started as a Care Assistant and soon progressed to Senior Carer and then Care Co-Ordinator, after which I diversified into the role of Senior Administrator. I have well-rounded experience, which allows me to have insight into many areas of the home.


I am committed to fostering a warm and nurturing environment where every individual feels valued and respected and I am passionate and dedicated to enhancing the lives of Residents through personalised support and compassionate care.


I am experienced in coordinating care plans, managing staff and ensuring regulatory compliance, which in turn provide a safe and well-managed home, and I am a firm believer in the power of empathy and kindness to make a difference in people's lives.


Outside of work, I am kept busy with my family of 4, including 2 young children. I like spending time with my family and my personal hobbies are swimming and tennis.

I started at Broadway Halls many years ago, and have been progressing in my career throughout my. I began as a carer then trained to become a Senior and also a trainer within the home.


My CHAPS role allows me to work closely alongside nurses and develop my clinical and management skills, and the role also adheres to many aspects of a registered nursing role.


I love my position and I am ready to continue learning and face any challenges that come my way!

I started at Broadway Halls as a Kitchen Assistant and, through training and determination, I have worked my way up to the position of Head Chef which I am incredibly proud of. Working in a care home as a chef, I have to think more about the eating needs and dietary requirements of the residents. There are various textures of food, special diets, diabetics, vegetarians and so much more. It can be challenging, but I love it and have an amazing team to work with!

Hi, I'm Chris the Sous Chef here at Broadway Halls.


I previously worked at Broadway Halls in 2014 and left to develop my skills in a fine dining restaurant in Birmingham. I was pleased to rejoin the team in November 2024 - I missed the people, the Residents and the homely culture that comes with working in care.


I have worked in hospitality since I left school and I am passionate about the dishes I create and serve. My signature dish is chicken and spinach pasta, tossed in a creamy sauce.


Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking my dog. Aston Villa is my team and when they are not playing I enjoy following horse racing and when the time allows, a day at the races is always welcome!
