Oakview Care Home provides care to older people who need full time nursing or residential care, including dementia.

There are four spacious specialist units each with its own lounge, dining facilities.

The core values of the home - Compassion, Respect and Responsibility, resonate strongly throughout the home.

Residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible and their needs, wishes and culture requirements are put first. A person-centred care plan is built around each resident.

Kitchen staff prepare breakfasts, lunch with homemade soups and selection of sandwiches or warm lunches, and evening meals are outsourced and prepared and delivered by Apetito and full of nutrients. Residents have a choice to choose off menu daily.

Oakview care have now completed renovations, going from a 72 bed to a 97 bed home. Lovely gardens have been added, as well as a balcony on the nursing Dementia unit where Residents and families can sit out and enjoy the lovely outdoors.
There is also also a lovely quiet room on the residential dementia unit, where residents and families can sit and enjoy quietness, whilst watching a lovely sensory aquarium.
There is a new hairdressers room built for residents to enjoy every Monday, to sit and relax whilst having their hair done.

Oakview Care Home is very good. Staff are attentive and always do their best to make residents feel happy and safe. Nice cups of tea for the residents and good entertainment. Good treatment and nice facilities.

Spent a wonderful afternoon celebrating a residents special Birthday. The staff were great at helping the party atmosphere and dancing with residents and guests. Spirits were high and the dancing slow but everyone had a fab time. Wonderful to know that there are care homes where staff have a great relationship
and attitude with their residents.

My partner has been here since July 2023. The standards, as indicated below are very consistent. Every effort is made to ensure residents' comfort, safety needs are met. Visitors that I bring into visit always comment on the cleanliness, atmosphere and surroundings. If I have concerns they welcome any
comment and it is addressed very quickly. Management and staff are excellent, even exceptional and always striving to improve.

Generally, we are pleased with the care and facilities that Mom receives. Some concerns when I have been with her one being she wanted the toilet but was told to wait until food was served at 5 pm, some 40 mins later she was attended to. Personally, I think the care home is understaffed. The staff here
work hard and are caring in their approach to residents. I feel that they are underappreciated by top management, more staff is required.

My husband dances with the staff and wouldn't with me when we married. I can't say how grateful me and my family are for how well he's taken care of. Everyone here is like family, he loves all the ladies like they are his girls. We know how bad some places are. We have the gold star home for my husband.

A wonderful home is truly a place where you can leave a loved one knowing that they're being cared for in every way by a wonderful group of people. My dad has been a resident here for almost a year now and I can wholeheartedly say that he is given exceptional care by members of staff who really do care.
The home is always clean and tidy and most importantly safe and secure which means that its residents are able to roam around their unit without the worry of getting lost or falling. I am beyond happy with the standard of care provided and am so grateful to each and every individual who works around the clock to provide it. Staff are always welcoming and cheery often singing and dancing along with residents making sure the best time is had by all. Really and truly a 10/10 facility.

My grandad is on Beachview. I cannot recommend Oakview Home enough since being here in October 2024. Every time we have visited (7 days a week) my grandad has been busy enjoying all the activities, from baking, dancing, singing, church services, and activities, his been so busy and happy here. The staff
are amazing, the place isn't just a care home but a home from home. The activity coordinator is so helpful and ensures the residents are always entertained, busy and living their lives to their maximum potential.

My dad has only been here 4 days but has settled in so well. We have visited several times already and when we arrived, he was sitting in the main area with others, looking smart, clean and happy. Staff seem wonderful and so caring. His room is spotless and love the flowers outside the window.
