Hawthorn Court care home, located in the centre of Hebburn, provides personalised residential and residential dementia care to older people.

The lovely home offers many areas for residents to relax, socialise and unwind. The beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms make residents feel at home, and some rooms have patio access to the landscape gardens.

Hawthorn Court boasts a selection of specially designed dining areas that provide the perfect space to share meals with fellow residents, or family and friends. Such a lovely caring home. We sadly lost my mother-in-law at the end of February. The care she received throughout her time at Hawthorn Court but especially in her final weeks, was exemplary. The genuine concern and consideration from all the staff was truly appreciated by her whole family.

My mother is well looked after in Hawthorn Court Care Home she doesn't join in activities but we've been informed she'd rather watch. In my opinion, all staff from top to bottom do an excellent job and me and my family commend and appreciate this. Their hard work doesn't go unnoticed.

Home is kept lovely and clean and meals are varied, nourishing and filling.
The staff are really nice and helpful and try to engage all its parents to participate in the various activities they staged in all Mam is well looked after and treated with dignity.

Always a genuine and friendly welcome when entering the home. The care given is clearly evident as my father is always clean and well dressed (as are the other residents). The staff always have time to answer any queries be it in person or by telephone. I have been present when lunch has been served
to my father and the food looks freshly cooked and nutritional. I would highly recommend Hawthorn Court Care Home to anyone looking for first class care for a loved one.

Mam has been a resident now for nine months. My sister and I are confident that she is well cared for. The staff keep us up to date with what is happening with Mam which is great and always make time to talk to us in person or on the phone. Staff are so organised, they always have the answers. I have
personally witnessed them deal with residents' challenging behaviour very professionally, staying calm and treating residents with dignity. They are always friendly whenever I arrive and always call me by my name.

Always a warm welcome by reception staff. One member of staff was helpful and friendly, explaining how well my mam had settled in and giving much needed peace of mind. The staff are always in good spirits and have a good relationship with my mam.
She has settled in better than I expected, in less than
two weeks and I'm pleased to have chosen this home.
