Re Value for Money, it is difficult to say 'yes', as my aunt is a self-funder and annual increases abuse your dominant position of having a captive audience.
Home cleanliness is excellent and a safe, comfortable
Although better than a lot of care homes, whether such high fees are warranted is debatable.

Thank you for your comments and feedback with regards to our home, Hawthorn Court, we appreciate all feedback received as it helps us to improve our service where required.
The health and wellbeing of all our Residents is very important to us. We are delighted to hear your positive comments with regards to our home and the support you received via our care team. Residents' wellbeing is very important to us and this includes the entertainment provided within our homes. I understand your concern with regards to Residents staying in their rooms and how this may impact on the level of social stimulation they receive, we would like to assure you that we look at each individual Resident, taking into account their preferences as to whether they would like to join in group activities. Residents who may wish to stay in their rooms are also supported by our wellbeing coordinator and our care team to ensure they are visited throughout the day. Our weekly activities are displayed throughout the home and the staff remind our Residents daily of the events and also highlighting forthcoming activities which are being organised within the home. We welcome any recommendations to improve and will complete a full review of our activities programme based on your feedback. Our Home Manager operates an open door policy and is happy to assist both Residents and family members with any concerns they may have. We also hold monthly staff meetings and Resident/Relative meetings to discuss any issues or ideas to improve the resident experience.

Thank you for your review; we value all feedback as this helps us improve our service where required. We are sorry that you feel the staff are sometimes rushed off their feet, however, our staffing levels are based on Resident dependencies. This is monitored daily and supported with a minimum of two walk arounds by the Home Manager to ensure that staffing levels can support Resident needs. We certainly encourage staff to sit and have chats with our Residents as often as possible, although care intervention must take priority. At busy times it may seem that staff are rushed however this is to ensure they meet all the Residents' needs in a timely manner. The Home Manager visits Residents throughout the day stopping to chat with them, relatives, friends and professional visitors, and our Wellbeing Coordinator ensures a program of planned daily activities is available. Thank you for your kind comments and recommendation of our home, Hawthorne Court, we are very proud of our staff team who strive to deliver quality kind care to all our Residents.
