The home provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 50 residents in single en suite rooms. There is also a shop for customers and their families within the home to promote sociable, customer-led activity.

Mill View's dedicated care team takes the time to get to know the individual and work with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure their care needs are continually met.

After accepting Nan was no longer safe at home we came to Mill View Care Home and got nothing but loving support from both staff and management. They made the transition as smooth as possible and nothing is ever too much to ask. Everybody is super approachable and your opinion is always taken on aboard.

My mum was admitted for respite. I had no idea what to expect. She stayed on as a permanent resident. The staff and managers are fantastic. I feel I can come to them if I have a problem or a worry. They are like family. I feel happy when I leave her. Mum is also very happy too.

I'm not sure how long my friend was in Mill View, but she was very happy. We were particularly happy with two staff members. When my friend first arrived there was no smell, but it became evident over time. The care at the end of her life was excellent.

The care home provides a home-from-home living experience for all residents. Activities are widely available to anyone who wants to join in. Themed events are organised where family and friends are welcome to join in the fun.
A widely varied menu to suit everyone is provided. Mill View is immaculately
clean and welcoming. Staff not only care for residents but care for the wider family too. Staff are not recognised highly enough for the level of compassion they provide. The dignity and respect that is shown is faultless. I would highly recommend Mill View to anyone looking for a loved one to be cared for.

The decision to place my dad in care was a very difficult one but we as his children had grave safeguarding concerns and had already seen this struggle for the preceding 18 months. He was in a terrible state, incontinent, non-compliant with his meds, falling, not eating, cold and confused. Living between
2 of his children was difficult due to work and childcare responsibilities. Our homes were not designed nor had adaptations for someone with these issues. We could see that getting him out of the house initially started to have an effect on him but the staff at Mill View took that so much further. He initially went for respite but is now a permanent resident. He is treated with such respect. There is a genuine concern for him and I'm amazed at how much goes on there. He is delivered programs of entertainment and meal plans regularly. There is something going on every day. I have nothing but praise for everyone there. Great team and leadership. My dad is content as are we. Thanks

Accepting that my Mum could no longer safely stay in her own home was the most difficult and emotional decision for my Mum and us, her family.
However, the transition from home to care has been made so much easier due to the fantastic care and support by the management and the team of carers at Mill
View.
My Mum has really settled at Mill View and in her words "nothing is too much bother for them" which is high praise indeed from my Mum.
The staff goes above and beyond for residents to continue to have special events to look forward to. The cruise night; TV soap night and the Western night were fabulous events where families could attend with their loved ones. The added bonus being that money raised from ticket sales and tombola raffles then goes towards additional treats for the residents.
Thanks to Mill View we can all sleep easy knowing that my Mum is being looked after and cared for by such committed management and staff.

Mill View home is a wonderful place, my mum is very happy and settled here. I am so happy with the staff, they are awesome people, cleanliness of the home is paramount and I believe that the home is always kept that way. I am informed of everything to do with my mum's care and I wouldn't want it any

Staff are friendly and helpful particularly with residents and also visitors. Hospitality is offered to visitors. Management are approachable and helpful. Events for residents and families are organised by raffles and offers of novelties.

My husband moved into Mill View in January 2024. He was made to feel very welcome as were we all as family and friends. He does need lots of care due to his many health problems and a prolonged time in hospital. The staff, on the whole, have been very good at noticing and reporting any problems very
quickly and they are dealt with quickly. I feel sometimes that more communication with me would be helpful so am going to try and attend the meetings more often.

Food very good indeed. Friendly home. Garden a credit to Mill View. I enjoy going on day trips. Enjoy shopping and afternoon cake. Enjoy the sport (Olympics etc). I would like to thank all the wonderful team at Mill View for going above and beyond our expectations.
The admission for Respite Care went very well and we found the staff very caring and considerate of my husband's needs. He was treated with dignity and respect in a safe environment.
Nothing was
too much trouble and family and friends were made very welcome when visiting.
I have no hesitation in recommending the home and would be happy for my husband to stay again.

We wanted somewhere for Dad to recover after an operation, Mill View met our expectations. All the staff are friendly caring, welcoming and nothing is too much to ask. The home is clean, welcoming and pleasant. The gardens and grounds are neat and clean and a relaxing oasis to sit in. Dad only stayed
a short respite but he was settled and comfortable, and wants to return for another respite period later on. The food is excellent and there are pleny of snacks and cups of tea on hand. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and have their own bathrooms and a good selection of furniture to meet everyone's requirements.

I am really pleased with the way that the staff have gone above and beyond to meet the needs of my friend who has been living here for the past 2 years. Since the new manager has come in, she has actively sought to have regular in-house activities/themed events and trips out for the residents and is
in the process of re-decorating everywhere to ensure the residents feel like it is their home which is really important. The garden is also a great place to either just sit and relax or if the weather is nice, activities also take place here too. All care staff and admin staff are approachable and friendly and have a great rapport with the residents and relatives. The food I have seen at lunchtime is all freshly cooked and looks lovely! My friend is now very content here and that is down to the hard work and dedication of all staff.

Wow, how wonderful Mill View Care Home is (so pleased we chose it for Mum) an excellent run care home. Clean, fresh and inviting with friendly and caring staff. The bedrooms are warm/cosy and that goes to the lounge/dining areas. The manageress who heads up such a first-class team, comes up with plenty
of brilliant ideas to enrich the lives of the residents, inviting their family members to join in the fun. We feel Mum is in safe hands and well cared for which gives us peace of mind. Well done Mill View.

This care home is amazing. Friendly staff who made us welcome from the first day our mum went in. Nothing too much trouble. Just feels like our extended family got bigger, food, entertainment, trips out, theme nights and raffles, always something on. Credit to all the staff for their hard work. The

I would like to pass my thanks on to all the staff at Mill View particularly the staff member in Finance, the manager, the assistant manager and another three members of staff for all their help, but in general all of the lovely staff who were pleasant, patient and kind. Even more so as Mum was really
leaning towards nursing care; she really did decline within a few weeks.
I was so sad Mum couldn't have stayed longer at Mill View. I was looking forward to getting her out and about in the garden, having afternoon tea and even hoping she could go on an outing.
It is a beautiful place, and I was so pleased I got her in there.
It is homely, friendly, welcoming and comforting; like a home from home. Beautifully decorated. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, all very spacious and I managed to get some photos and ornaments around her that she was familiar with. The lounge and dining area is fabulous with great views of Bradford and beyond.
Thank you all so much for looking after her.

Very modern environment.
The staff is very caring and attentive and happy to join in entertainment. The residents that we met seemed very happy. Only a short visit but I couldn't see any negative points. On first impressions, I would be happy to recommend Mill View.
