My wife was transferred from another care home to the current Bromford Lane Care Centre. My family on several visits and myself, the reception given to us and my wife has been excellent in all aspects. The organisation on cleaning, personal care with patients in dementia area, all the care you employ
can be expressed as a leader against other competitors.

My mother was in a particularly poorly state when she arrived at the care home. The staff treated Mom with great respect and tenderness. The facilities are clean, modern and bright. In the courtyard garden, there's an aviary housing budgerigars and there are chickens running free. Mom is moving on to
a permanent place in a nursing home near my sister on the other side of the city, but she has benefited from the care she has had at Bromford Lane. I would have no concerns about an elderly resident staying here.

I am so disappointed in this service, the website is not up to date and doesn’t look or provide the way is stated so, my grandma was in here for less than 24 hours due to lack of care and safety. I feel like they see the resident as numbers, not an individual. Nothing to keep them occupied, staff aren’t
seen to be communicating with residents, just head in phones. I was told it was an assessment unit but then my grandma was moved to a non-assessment unit “so easier to keep watch” with no access to her room if she chose to, code panel worn out so the family couldn’t even allocate the right code to access grandma's room. The room was more of an isolation than a room. The emergency panel didn’t look accessible, seems as if the TV was removed from the walls when there are ways to keep residents safe without removing it first. The home manager I approached was very blunt and was not helpful.
Not very inviting care, which is a shame as I was staff here some time back with the same management and was a much more homely and inviting place.

The units are no longer residential care and are all now complex mental health. Sadly my husband reached a stage of Alzheimer's and Vascular dementia where it wasn't safe for himself or others for him to remain at home. I was heartbroken when he was taken away. Bromford has been able to offer him a safe environment that allows him movement as he still roams. I am grateful to see
him well cared for in clean and kind surroundings. He was a respected man in his working life and is now treated with respect even though very ill.

My mom has been in Bromford Lane Care Centre (EAB ward) for a few weeks. Myself and family have been overwhelmed with the resident's care, patience and empathy. All staff are so professional, friendly and caring, who certainly go above and beyond in resident/patient care. What a great team Bromford

Couldn't ask for better care, which my mother has received whilst in Bromford Lane under assessment. The staff always ensured that she was cared for and made sure she was safe at all times. The staff were great with my mother, and the entertainment was good for her - she very much enjoyed funky Wednesdays.
She loved having her hair and nails done, and the other residents were great too.
Thank you for everything you have done for my mother.

My sister was at Bromford Care Home for approximately six weeks. I couldn't fault the care she received whilst there. All of the staff were very attentive and extremely caring, kind and friendly. The rooms were a very good size and kept clean. The place itself is quite modern and the food is good. I
would like to say a big thank you to all who cared for her and would definitely recommend the home.

After a traumatic year with my dad and his Alzheimer needs going onto an unmanageable level this year, the manager and her team were able to accommodate him and cater for his needs. A recent hospital admission and change in care needs was a concern, but the manager and her team were able to address
this and offer my mom and I support and reassure us on the next steps and care provision, especially around end of life care, which is important to us. Dad always appears clean and well looked after and especially warm during this frail time for him. Thank you.

Mom always looks well looked after. The home makes sure Mom has the food she needs and activities Mom can relate to. Mom's bedroom always looks clean. The staff are always in the lounge making sure Mom and the other residents are cared for and safe. The nursing and the care staff are all very attentive.

My relative has been cared for at Bromford for several weeks. he was very confused, but over the last three weeks, has made a very good recovery and continues to improve each time we visit. She is happy and content and greets all members of staff with a smile. I find the staff very pleasant and most
approachable. All rooms I have visited are bright, fresh and clean and the meals I have seen presented are good in presentation, looking very appetising and satisfying.

My nan has dementia and has been on assessment at this home for a number of weeks now. As everyone knows, no one can care for your loved ones like you do, but this home really does care. They are amazing and I feel at peace that my nan is going to spend the rest of her time here. The manager is an amazing
lady, there is nothing you can’t ask her and there is nothing she won’t do for you. All the staff are so caring and have so much time. I cannot recommend this home enough!

My husband was put on end-of-life care at the end of October/November and I cannot fault the manager and her team for all the loving care they give him. He had been in the home for four years and the staff were so caring and attentive, they could not have done more. We felt very comforted that his last

My father was in Bromford Care Home for 3.5 years with Lewy Body Dementia. Throughout the different stages of dementia, he was so well looked after. I'm generally touched by the level of care he received from the day and night staff right to the end.
The facility is also modern, spacious and clean
unlike a lot of other care homes. The staff were very understanding of dads condition and let him freely explore and interact with others. Highly recommended. Please visit instead of just reading reviews.

Dad was at Bromford three times this year after being discharged from hospital with infections each time he was really well looked after and rehabilitated back home. The last time he was at Bromford it was obvious that the staff were really glad to see him and had grown very fond of him. His health
declined quickly and our family were not able to be with I'm at the end, but he was with his carer and she supported him and he felt loved. We are very grateful to everyone at Bromford.

My brother has been in Bromford Lane since the start of the year, we have not been able to visit because of Covid and living three hours away. My first visit was last week 27th September when we arrived we were given a test and supplied with PPE. All the staff we spoke to was very friendly and helpful.
As this was our first visit to see my brother the manager accompanied us so that we felt at ease with him as he has Alzheimer's, we could tell he gets on with the manager very well as they had a good laugh together. The home is very clean and tidy we have no complaints.

My brother was moved to Bromford Lane Care Centre in April 2019. the care team and set-up were more suited to his needs. He was looked after with dignity and care. Although it was difficult for him to interact or join in with activities staff made time for him. As a family, we were always made welcome
and any concerns were easily discussed and addressed by both sides. When closed due to Covid I could send videos to him which was fantastic.
