I think React Support Services is a fantastic service who jointly work very effectively and are open to learning and reflecting as individuals and as an organisation. It is clear that they are patient-focused and work hard to move people through to more independent living schemes, unlike other providers
or rehabs. I have been impressed with their open and regular communication and for the house staff's amazing ability to 'hold the line' and emotionally tolerate very tricky and uncomfortable situations around risk with the client I support. They also manage to tolerate other agencies' anxieties well such as the police and safeguarding, through a robust understanding of relational dynamics and the role of self-harm in patients’ lives and the need to do things which, although feel counter-intuitive and 'neglectful', are actually best designed to reduce risk and help a patient really move forward in their life. Well done React!
