A comfortable care home with a lovely atmosphere and staff. A good understanding of dementia care.

The home in which my mother is a resident has excellent carers and we are happy with her care.
There is a good local doctor who has a good relationship with the home, this enables good care by the surgery and care home.

My mum moved into Buckingham Lodge straight from the hospital. She has improved so much already with the great care and attention from the nurses. The first day she was out of bed and sitting in the chair and the following day walking a few steps with a frame. The nurses always have time to talk to
you and the home has a lovely warm and friendly feel. Everything is bright clean and modern.
I can't praise you enough Buckingham Lodge - Thank you.

My mother is well cared for. Her room is warm and homely, cleaned regularly although her table could be better- it has been replaced since Christmas but still always seems to be sticky (I realise she spills things etc but a daily wipe would be good!) The staff are very helpful and supportive and there
are activities on offer although mum usually chooses not to take part. I am not yet convinced on the hairdresser- having spoken to the manager I reserve judgement! Overall happy with the care mum gets.

Buckingham Lodge is a very caring home. Lovely girls who look after Dad as he is nice and settled. We couldn't have found a better place for him. Thank you to everyone.

Carers and nurses are attentive and responsive. Quite a high staff turnaround over 10 months Mum has been here. She is profoundly deaf and they treat her kindly and sympathetically.

My father has been in Buckingham Lodge for over one year and has been very well cared for in all the time he has been there. The staff are always polite and cheerful no matter what the problem is. My father has been in hospital and has gone back to the home and unfortunately has not been too well, but
the staff have been attentive at all times to both myself, my family and of course my father. I cannot praise the staff enough.

In 2014, I attained my qualification as a registered nurse. My tenure at Kingsley commenced as a nurse, before advancing into management roles. I am proud to be a manager at Buckingham Lodge, Our ethos revolves around providing personalised, person-centred care and unwavering support to our residents. Beyond the confines of my professional responsibilities, I continue to indulge in my passion for technology. Whether it's tinkering with gadgets or staying abreast of technological advancements, my enthusiasm for innovation remains undiminished.

Job Title: Hospitality Manager

I have worked in the hospitality trade for 16 years across a wide range of environments including hotels, pubs, kitchens and events planning, I also worked as an IT manager within Health, Social Care and Education with Norfolk County Council for 10 years specialising in NHS integrations and leading on Social Care transformation. I have always moved towards roles where I can truly feel like I can make a difference and be able to see first-hand the positive outcomes of my work and believe that my two previous roles complement each other in my position, allowing me to really help drive all areas of hospitality, wellbeing and activities here at Buckingham Lodge.


I have a large family so my focus outside of work is to spend quality time with them, generally in the great outdoors going camping & hiking and taking part in bushcraft and water-based activities.

Job Title: Administrator

Hello! I’ve worked at Buckingham Lodge since 2018, I started on a bank contract as a Housekeeper whilst I was in high school as I moved into college I started to learn more within the home such as Kitchen Assistant, Laundry, Support Worker and Senior Support Worker. I am now enjoying my role as Home Administrator.


Everybody is so supportive and I know who to turn to if I need some help. There are also lots of training opportunities that I utilise to expand my knowledge in various areas.


In my spare time, I enjoy attending various car shows and spending time with my family. I also like to organise Car Shows that we hold here at Buckingham Lodge.
