My mum has been a resident in Ashley Court Care Home for 2 years. I feel the quality of care and management of the home have improved over recent months. The nursing staff have a good understanding of mum's care and support needs and of her likes and dislikes. They follow up concerns we have as a family
very quickly. All her care plans and risk assessments are up to date and regularly reviewed.
In the past, we have had concerns about my mum's clothes and belongings not being well looked after/going missing but this is no longer the case. Mum's quality of life would be improved further if staff had a little time to support her to go out in the garden or spend some time in her room. This currently does not happen and adds to the restrictions on her.

There really aren't enough words in the English language to adequately describe the incredible care that my father received here.


The nursing staff are attentive, kind, caring, understanding, considerate and passionate about what they do. They were always gentle, loving and truly wonderful people.


The

administrative staff are so, so helpful, so understanding and so kind.


Each and every single one of the care staff treated my father with the dignity, kindness and consideration they would have no-doubt shown their own father.


I really could not have asked for anything else from these wonderful people. You don't often get to witness pure human kindness like this and it's truly transformative to know that it still exists.

My husband suffers from Parkinson's disease and has lived at Ashley Court for two years. the home is a pleasant environment for me to visit him regularly. It is well maintained inside and communal rooms have large windows which create good light and panoramic views of ground and beyond. The staff are
friendly and supportive to us as a family, offering flexibility with meals and personal care, which allows us to take him out when health and weather conditions permit. Overall, despite this extremely frustrating illness, Ashley fulfils our needs very well.

My brother is in the home under palliative care. He has a GBM4 aggressive, untreatable brain tumour. The home and its staff have given us the knowledge that our brother is safe and pain-free. 24 hours per day during his final weeks. Although we have been spending many hours every day with our brother
(there are only 3 of us siblings) the home care has allowed us to do some normal things like shopping and eating.

Took a little while to settle in but now feel settled in so much and consider it home. If it wasn't for the help from my sister and all the staff at Ashley Court I believe I wouldn't be here now. I have made some goods friends here and I am very content. I have regained my confidence since living here.

My father is content with his life at Ashley Court. He interacts with all of the staff who all treat him with care and consideration. The nursing staff are excellent and well qualified. They keep a close eye on him and refer him to medical care promptly when necessary.
