Acorn Lodge is a well-respected care home in Nuneaton that has facilities for residential, dementia or short-term respite care.

Just a short bus ride from the town centre, the home happily accommodates couples and companions who wish to remain together as they continue their care journey and make new memories side by side.

All rooms are furnished to a high standard and the spacious lounges offer opportunities for socialising and participating in activities. All residents are able to enjoy communal films in their cinema and get their hair done in the hair salon.

The staff encourage residents to be as independent as they wish while supporting them with sympathetic care when needed.

Staff keep up-to-date with the latest thinking in dementia care. The dedicated Memory Care Suite has its own sweet shop and makes use of reminiscence therapy, modern technology and the internet in recalling the past.

The staff at Acorn Lodge are lovely, friendly and helpful. Facilities and cleanliness are outstanding. Couldn't be happier that she is safe in this home.

My nan has been at Acorn Lodge since August. She loves it there. The staff are incredibly helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble.


The range of activities for the residents are fantastic and it's so lovely to see my nan enjoying all of these.

Very helpful on admission. Staff are polite and caring both to residents and family. The facility is nicely kept and welcoming, beautifully presented. Food is good quality and very varied. The rooms are modern and the shower rooms are to hotel standard. The hairdressing salon is a good standard and
reasonably priced - a nice touch for ladies. Maintenance is prompt and very efficient. All in all, more like a retirement hotel.

My mum has been in Acorn Lodge Care Home since January 2014. From several that we visited, this was without any doubt our favourite. Welcoming, friendly and a feeling of not actually being in a care home - more a hotel environment. Contact with staff members has been very positive and the level of care
excellent. After visiting mum, I am always reassured that we made the right choice. I short, I feel 100% confident that mum is in good hands. She will never get better, but I know she is safe, secure and as comfortable as is possible which gives me total peace of mind. I would certainly recommend Acorn Lodge Care Home.

My mother has been a resident in the Dementia unit for over five years. In that time I have been consistently amazed at the care she receives from the caring, friendly, professional and dedicated staff, at all levels, in all departments.
I am updated on her health and telephoned if anything gives
cause for concern.
This is truly a first class facility.

My mother has been at this care home for 5 years this month and during this time she has been happy and content even though her Alzheimer's has got progressively worse through time. I have found the staff always to be caring and friendly even though at times they are rushed off their feet. Because of
the way the home is run and the staff employed there, I can relax knowing she is in good hands.

Acorn Lodge Care Home is looking after my Great Aunt very well. She is in a safe, supportive and very welcoming environment where nothing is too much trouble. I have been totally impressed by the standard of care, attention and humanity that all the staff show and this is consistent across the patch.

I live in France most of the year but I do manage to visit him about every six weeks. The home is very good and of course, there are things that could be improved but nothing major. I am very happy with the managers that run the place since the manager has been ill.
We are sorry to hear that she won't
be coming back, but the two people that have been managing the place do it very well and they should keep the job. They are always around to let us know what's happening also by email or phone. This is very important to me as our family all live away from dad.

My sister suffers from Vascular Dementia and I find she is well cared for at Acorn Lodge Care Home. The staff are kind and gentle as my sister's needs are 24-hour care. A record is kept of how much she eats and drinks which is very helpful when I visit her.
