Barton Lodge provide excellent care for my mother. The management have created a friendly, relaxing environment with beautiful surroundings. The care staff are exceptional and do all they can to provide friendly and professional 'round-the-clock' care for my mother. The staff provide my mother with
all the help she needs so she can continue to live a happy and content life. The family are happy that mum is at Barton Lodge and is receiving the best possible care.

Mum has been in Barton Lodge for the last 4 weeks. From the start, she settled in well and the staff have been lovely and supportive to her and us as her family. The home itself is very clean and spacious, the room are well-equipped and are spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I am very pleased with the quality of care my mother is receiving, puts my mind at rest that she is well cared for.

My gran was a resident at Barton Lodge, an amazing care home with excellent facilities and staff. Regular tea trolleys a day and a range of activities by the activities coordinator. Staff are amazing with the care and love they give to each and every resident.

I don't know where to start. Amazing nursing home. The home manager and team are just outstanding; caring, thoughtful and friendly. When we viewed within seconds we knew this was the place to put my auntie, it's like a hotel; spacious, spotless, clean. The Rooms are massive, they even have a cinema
room, the food is wonderful, the decor is out of this world. Even seeing the staff so caring and interacting with other residents is so heartwarming. The day my auntie was moving in we were allowed to have her room all sorted and cosy before she arrived. From the front door my auntie hasn't stopped smiling. We had problems with washing and changing clothes before and within twenty-four hours my auntie had full washes as in baths, changed clothes, hair cut, nails done and is smiling even more. This was for sure a golden find, I personally couldn't be happier that this is where my auntie is. I haven't seen that smile in years. She talks to everyone and just settled so well in a few days. Thank you Home Manager and team.

I cannot fault the team at Barton Lodge. My grandad is really happy there. The staff cannot do enough. All his needs are always met with such compassion. I've heard lots of terrible things about various care homes so I was naturally nervous, but there was no need to be, the team here are fab. Thanks

My dad stayed here for 3 weeks respite. He had a wonderful stay and was well cared for. The home has had a beautiful refurbishment, it’s lovely and clean, the rooms are well laid out and it has a warm friendly and homely atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to ensure that my dad’s dietary requirements
were met and he was well catered for. There was as plenty of activities, stimulation and socialisation for my dad which he thoroughly enjoyed. The staff and management were brilliant at such short notice and I would highly recommend Barton Lodge.

This is a fantastic care home. Residents are cared for by a diligent team of carers, led by an experienced, hands-on management team. My mum is in a good-sized, ensuite room which we were able to personalise and is kept very clean. Personal care is administered thoughtfully. Food is good. Even though
it has 70 rooms, it still feels homely due to the friendly staff and the way it is organised. A lovely dining room and relaxing lounge. Peace of mind and safety of a loved one. 100% recommend.

Spent 2 weeks being well cared for. Staff were particularly attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Room was spacious and well appointed. Meals were regular, food was varied, very tasty with ample portions - regular tea, biscuits or cake served throughout the day.
Cleanliness throughout was well endorsed,
rooms cleaned daily - I felt well looked after.
Only downside was a lack of activities, this was due to the home being let down by an outside contractor, hopefully this is addressed going forward.
This was my first stay at this home, a lovely experience with no regrets. I would not hesitate to recommend and return.

My mum was previously in a care home in December 2022 and she slipped over and spent 7 weeks in hospital. The care home then said they couldn’t meet her needs so after visiting other care homes, which we were not happy with, we found out that a new care home had just opened called Barton Lodge. Wow,
what a brilliant home this is, I say this not just because of the facilities the home has, but the kindness, care and commitment the staff have shown to my mum.

My father has come to Trefoil for temporary respite. All the staff are fantastic with him and myself. He is well looked after, with medication when required, food, snacks and drinks all on hand. Beautifully clean building, very safe with plenty of company and support. His room is very well laid out.
A big thank you to all the carers, managers, reception staff, chef, housekeepers and caretakers. They all work well to look after the service users.

Mum was a respite resident. All staff were welcoming and friendly,y and made every effort to accommodate her needs. Communication was a little patchy and varied, to begin with, but swiftly improved, and staff went out of their way to accommodate regular calls with our Mum. It's a shame that activities
were minimal, but I understand this was not the usual situation due to the circumstances at the time.
