Seagrave House complements Glenmoor House, which is another Avery home in Corby, which has joint excursions arranged.

Three floors offer residential care as well as dementia and respite care.

The top floor is devoted to private residential suites with kitchenettes.

The home offers a shared care experience with companion suites, designed for couples, siblings or friends seeking a caring and supportive environment together.

There is a secluded rear garden and a friendly bowling club next door. Seagrave has plenty of cosy lounge areas perfect for socialising including a cinema room and a hair salon open to residents daily.

Relationships across the generations are encouraged and grandchildren are welcome to join their parents on visits. Families are encouraged to be involved in decision-making for the home.

Strong ties with the local communities have been made and local entertainers and speakers are frequent visitors.

The chefs make the meals as fresh as possible, can cater for all dietary requirements and enjoy cooking for special occasions.

My Nan's care assistant shows much compassion to my Nan and fellow residents - she was completing paperwork whilst a resident was sat next to her 'helping'. Was lovely to see she had time and patience and was including the resident - and thank you for always listening and being so patient with my Nan
since her coming into Seagrave.

Both my Grandparents are in Seagrave House and what a difference in them, they are both so happy they love being there. Management are amazing as are all the staff. Could not ask for a better home for them. So a massive thank you to all at Seagrave House.

I have a very close friend here and he has stayed for 2 months now, he is so much happier than when he was at home alone. The home is very clean, the staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and staff get to know service users and their habits etc. (Likes/dislikes).

Overall the home, the staff and the care is excellent. The patience displayed by the staff is noteworthy and the facilities are first class. Of minor concern is there is often an odour, automatic air fresheners could help. Also, there is little control over residents walking into other peoples rooms
uninvited. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy with the service and care offered by Seagrave House Care Home. As far as the organisation as a whole is concerned I believe the price increase/annum should be kept to the rate of inflation paying residents should not subsidise council residents and additional charges kept to a minimum.

The service received has been excellent, from the point of asking to look around and timescales in respect of my father being assessed and accommodated. During his first week, he was unwell and the care received by night staff was second to none in my father's words.
I have not met anyone who is not
fantastic. Dad is very special and I have every confidence he is happy and very well cared for.

Having been through a difficult time finding out dad needed constant care, we were lucky in finding Seagrave. The facilities are good, but all the staff are fantastic. Myself and my sister are happy to know dad is in safe hands.

Overall the staff and management at Seagrave provide a friendly, comfortable and safe environment.
The staff are approachable and treat my wife with dignity and respect, she feels more like a family member than a resident.

We visit our friend on a regular basis, and always find the staff very friendly and welcoming, the home is very tastefully decorated, the housekeeping is kept to a very high standard, and we are extremely pleased with the level of care our friend receives. There are always activities going on to keep
the residents occupied, which is lovely for them, they are so well looked after, it is always a pleasure to visit Seagrave House.

Mum has been in Ii for three years now and the family could not be happier for mum as the staff are wonderful and caring. Don't think she could be happier anywhere else. There is always a lovely friendly atmosphere in the home when you go in. Very welcoming. It seems to be kept at a high standard of
cleanliness and the decor is lovely. Also with the coffee, tea etc in the reception area is very nice and a thoughtful extra, also the cakes !!

My mother has been a resident of Seagrave since July 2007. She has advanced dementia and associated conditions. She has had wonderful care in the later stages of her condition and despite constant visits to KGH always seems most at ease when back at Seagrave. Both myself and my father (at 91) are always
made welcome and nothing is to much trouble for the staff and they go out of their way to make him feel part of the home on his frequent visits.
