The care my aunt received was outstanding, so much so that when my mother in law needed respite care for dementia, she stayed at Regency Manor and is still there.
Following this, my mother needed full-time care and has now been at Regency Manor for 10 months and is very happy there. Neither my aunt
(who sadly passed away last year) nor my mother have dementia. The care given to both dementia and non-dementia residents is exceptional. The activity staff are very friendly and give above and beyond!

We feel the care our mother received was second to none, both the day and night staff were so professional and caring. They were truly amazing in their dedication and their tireless efforts to give her the best quality of life they possibly could. When our mother became unwell, not only did the staff
take care of her every need we, her daughters, also felt cared for. Nothing was too much trouble.


When Mum peacefully passed away, the support, respect and genuine concern the night staff showed both us and our mother helped make our loss easier to bear. This just underlined for us that they were genuinely fond of her and for such dedicated staff, caring for someone like our mum isn't just 'a job' - they are a credit to the organisation.

We can't praise Regency Manor enough, from the moment we arrived (unannounced) to look around, to admission, settling and caring for Mum.
It became truly her home and she was settled and so well cared for. The staff always treated Mum with dignity and respect.
Mum was well dressed and there was always
attention to detail - hair, jewellery and lipstick. We were totally confident that Mum was in the best place - staff always keeping us informed too.

It was such a relief when I met one of the Deputy Managers from Regency Manor in July last year (2016) at the hospital.
Her smile and reassurance gave me the confidence to pass the respite care of my mother to the care home. I had already visited Regency Manor and found it to be the most wonderful
place, with light, bright decor, very clean, excellent facilities and welcoming staff. It was also the little things, like the door knocker on each of the brightly painted door to each residents room which proved to me this was the right place.
Since my mother became a permanent resident I cannot fault their care of her in any way. I am always informed of any medical issues with my mother and I know she is in safe hands. All the staff are dedicated and positive - it is a pleasure to see them.
Sometimes I forget this is a care home and not a five star hotel!

My mother has been a resident for approximately 5 years and she has not always been easy on the staff because of her dementia and water infections, but I always feel she has the best attention. The staff are always most polite and never seem ruffled by her abrupt behaviour, which I have often witnessed.
I am always kept informed of her health and well-being and could not ask for any more.

My brother and I were looking for a care home for both of our parents. We shortlisted three in the Poole and Bournemouth area. When my father was shown each, he chose Regency Manor Residential & Nursing Home and we have not been disappointed. The staff have looked after my mother and father in their
final days with dignity, respect and care. Homes for the elderly are unfortunately necessary and I would recommend Regency Manor Residential & Nursing Home to anyone who wants their loved ones to have a pleasant twilight.
