Collinson House is situated in the centre of Luton and aims to create an atmosphere which is calm, relaxed and reassuring for older people and those living with dementia.

The home provides residents with a secure, familiar and homely environment including spacious accommodation and modern facilities.

A dedicated team of staff are trained and supervised to provide the highest standard of care while responding sensitively to the evolving needs of the residents within a cherished community.

Residents, care staff, the resident’s doctor and relatives are all given the opportunity to contribute to an agreed care plan. This outlines what the particular needs and wishes of the resident are and establishes the appropriate level of service required.

The home also employs a skilled group of support staff, including cooks, domestics and laundry personnel to enhance the quality of life for each resident.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the activities programme which is organised by the activities co-ordinator.

Beautiful establishment. Staff very polite and helpful, not only to the residents but to family, friends and visitors. Always first name terms and staff very caring. Rooms well equipped, beautifully kept, allowing personal items to make the room personal to the resident (excellent home). Staff also
spoke several languages, which allowed them to cater to my relative.

So happy with the care my grandad received at Collinson House, the staff were always friendly, helpful, kind, thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble for my grandad or the family. I have never felt more welcomed and looked after on walking through doors. When we left my grandad in the care of staff
I always felt reassured that he would be well cared for. Thank you all so much.

My late husband, who had advanced Dementia, received first class care in Collinson House Care Home. He was always treated with skill, understanding, dignity and kindness and was contented and relaxed which gave me peace of mind. It is a very well kept, clean and comfortable home. The rooms are spacious
and nicely decorated. As for myself, I was always greeted warmly by all the staff when I visited and made to feel at home.
All the staff are professional, well trained and pleasant. Any queries I had were listened to and dealt with.

What a wonderful place and my Dad has asked me to write so too. Since coming to Collinson House in November 2018 he has never looked better and is enjoying it with people who care for him and make him safe. Thank you; he didn't even want to come to ours at Christmas as you have all made him feel so
welcome as well. The staff cannot do enough for Dad or us when we visit. Collinson House is clean, friendly and welcoming. We can't thank you enough. Happy New Year to all the lovely staff and residents in Collinson House.

With poor health, physical disability and two daughters unable to manage we were faced with the sad decision to look for a care home for our dad. Collinson House was local, good CQC and a very fair price - also a small personal unit. We arrived to 'inspect' the home unannounced - The manager reassured
us of all our fears. 7 weeks since dad moved in - his health and presentation have greatly improved. The staff are so considerate and friendly - dad has commented on how well they care for him. He's pleased to have his hair cut, complete jigsaws and have his own 52 inch TV in his room. My sister and I are reassured he is safe, cared for and we are no longer exhausted. We can visit whenever we like and I have total trust in the unit - which is priceless. I really would recommend Collinson house - a small, personal unit, with great staff. I could write more but the word limit won't let me :-)

I have visited this home on several occasions and have been impressed and satisfied every time.
Staff have been very friendly and always around to help.
I have noted that carers are aware of where residents are at all times.
I have observed residents being treated with respect and dignity and several
activities are provided for entertainment.
The bedrooms and other facilities (eg toilets) are both clean and private.

Staff extremely helpful.
They are always busy.
The home has many demanding patients and the staff have a kind nature.
My mother aged 93 years realises the demands on staff as her body lets her down but her mind is mostly still in step.
She has over her time here decided to stay to try to recover.

I approached Collinson House quite recently due to my mother's rapid decline both physically and mentally. They assessed her the same day and a place was prepared for when she came out of hospital. Since then I have visited everyday and have found the staff friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing
is too much trouble. I feel that Collinson House is giving my mother end of life comfort and me peace of mind. I am pleased that I decided to send her there.

The staff at this care home are outstanding, caring both for the residents and the relatives of the resident.
If I paid £10,000 a day I could not get better care.
This is a dementia home and the dignity given to residents is outstanding.

I am a focused and driven manager with a strong belief in developing our team in order to provide exceptional care delivery. I love to spend time with family and friends and enjoy swimming, reading and cooking in my free time.
