The team at The Beeches, many of whom have been with the home for years, are passionate about enriching the lives of their residents and empowering them to have an active role to play in how their home is run.

Providing residential, dementia and respite care, the team are proud to involve the residents and their loved ones in every aspect of life at the home. There are resident and family ambassadors, who get involved in everything from taking part in staff interviews to providing feedback on everything from the menus to the activities.

Food is a highlight of the day for many residents – and the chef is an award-winning baker with a passion for cakes! The food is very much shaped by the residents and there is a mixture of traditional dishes, like roasts with all the trimmings, to flavours from around the world if the residents would like to try them – including Caribbean, Greek and Indian.

There are so many activities to enjoy, from pampering in the salon, cheese and wine evenings and live entertainment, to gentle exercise and gardening in the home’s vegetable patch.

The team embrace the community into the home, with visiting students and community volunteers.

The Beeches also has a namaste room, a cinema room and a café, where residents can relax with friends and family, who are welcome at any time, over tea and homemade cake.

The home also has a Magic Table, an amazing piece of technology designed for people living with dementia, where residents can play interactive light games together.

The gardens are a beautiful spot to relax in, with raised planters and wheelchair friendly pathways. Some of the bedrooms, which are all ensuite, have patio access to the gardens.

Since moving into The Beeches in February 2018, Mum is now relaxed, calmer, happier and much more content than she has been for a number of years at home.
Nothing is too much trouble at The Beeches and we're encouraged to treat The Beeches as part of our home as it is Mum's new home.
I can relax knowing
Mum is taken care of in such excellent ways.

My Mom, since she has been at The Beeches, has become more settled and calm. Her psychotic episodes have disappeared and incontinence returned to normal. I am very pleased with her progress.

My mother is now in her third week at The Beeches and to date, we have no complaints at all. The whole stressful experience has been made easier by all staff and management and they have all done everything to make Mom welcome and secure in. Mom has a lovely room which is spotless, clean. Food good

My uncle is with you at The Beeches. He is 81 now but he is sharp as a knife.
The staff have been brilliant with my uncle's care, nothing is too much trouble. We have had some financial personal issues with my uncle's money, pension wise and one staff member in particluar we trust 100% and she has
been excellent.
I would also like to say we are very impressed with your manager. Can't thank you guys enough for your caring and help. Excellent.

My father has complex problems apart from dementia recently his condition deteriorated. The staff were supportive of myself and my dad, they showed kindness and compassion and worked hard to meet all of his care needs. He was not isolated but still was part of the activities as the staff know his problems
but also his likes and dislikes. The most important as being nearly blind hearing familiar voices and having staff know his love of music is important to his wellbeing. He has now improved well done to the staff.

I was very impressed with the excellent care provided for a family friend when he moved into The Beeches and for the duration of his residence there. The staff were so caring and friendly at all times, the general atmosphere in The Beeches is so positive. The teamwork between the staff is outstanding,

I am extremely happy with the care Mum receives. The staff are excellent, so warm, welcoming and caring. Mum has really settled here and she says she feels safe, that is very reassuring. She tells me how kind and caring the staff are towards her. I enjoy my visits and I do not think we could have chosen

My sister and I would just like to say a massive thank you to the Manager and all staff at The Beeches. Mom had been here for almost 3 years but unfortunately passed away 30th November aged 94. The last couple of months she had been receiving palliative care and end of life care. The staff at The Beeches
are 2nd to none, they looked after Mom till the end as if she was their own mother, and nothing was too much trouble day and night. Mom was treated with dignity at all times.


We would highly recommend this home to anyone in need.

Although it was a difficult decision to move mum into a care home, I now know she is safe and well looked after.


It is a purpose-built care home with all rooms having a wet room and are fully furnished which includes a TV and bedside light. The food was delicious when we had lunch with mum on her

first day as a resident. The manager and senior carers have been extremely helpful and caring and all the other staff are very friendly.


Unfortunately, there is only limited parking.

It has been my experience that there has been a constant high level of care and consideration towards my mother's needs, with a good attention to detail for her specific requirements.
In general, residents seem happy and content and on a personal note, the staff are friendly and helpful and understanding.

I began my career in care as an activities coordinator, discovering the joy of bringing happiness and purpose to residents.


Later, as a care assistant, I had the privilege of ensuring residents received tailored care informed by their unique histories and needs.


In my senior care roles, I embraced a person-centred approach, treating residents like extended family. I believe in truly knowing each individual, and helping them to live fulfilling lives.


Becoming a mother deepened my empathy for families, teaching me to address even small concerns with compassion and care. I always strive to view situations through the lens of how I would want my own loved ones treated.


Now, as Home Manager at The Beeches, I bring years of experience and a passion for creating a vibrant, welcoming environment where residents, their families, and staff feel valued and supported.
