Anchor's Savile Park is located at the centre of the Halifax community and provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 55 residents in single rooms. Built-in bedroom furniture and en suite wet rooms are provided as standard. The home continues to welcome new residents for quality residential and residential dementia care.

The dedicated care team take the time to get to know each individual and work with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure their care needs are continually met. They pride themselves in dementia care and provide on-going training to ensure their approach is best for customers living with dementia.

They work hard to get to know customers, build relationships and ensure all aspects of the service they provide is focused on individual and compassionate care.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

The staff were caring and very helpful. Meals were well cooked and tasty with plenty of choice. Staff listened and acted accordingly to suggestions we made about clothes, drinks, TV etc.


We rang daily to speak to my mother-in-law from the states and the staff were happy to take the phone to her to

speak to us. At 103 years old we were very happy to know she was being taken care of so efficiently whilst we were away. The establishment and her room were cosy and spotless.

We cannot thank the staff who work at Savile Park in Halifax enough for all they did for our mum and us. They went above and beyond any expectation. I shall contact the home with individuals names, and hope they're absolutely commended for their amazing work:


The care, dignity and support offered

to my mum, my family and my mum's friends by this place has been amazing, it is secondary to none. As a family, we are blown away by how much we've been helped through a very difficult time. We all have people that may need to be cared for with dignity at some stage and we all could be the ones needing the care!

My elderly mum (93) has just moved to your care home and the transition from her previous home due to it's closure has been excellent due to the staff at Savile Park. Without exception they have all been brilliant and nothing has been too much trouble. All "issues/concerns etc" have been dealt with
immediately and this has helped mum settle in well.

Mum moved to Saville Park because the residential care home she was in closed. She was very apprehensive and frightened with the move, but overnight she settled in and relaxed straight away with her new surroundings. The care and compassion was first class. She was totally relaxed from day one. The
rooms are very clean and fitted out really well and they set up the room to fit mums needs. She loves the food with good dining facilities. There are two lounges which she can freely move about to. The staff are very friendly and treat people with dignity. This care home feels like a home from home and it suits my mothers needs perfectly. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and it's very well run. The staff are considerate and first class and treat my mums needs pefrectly.

I cannot praise this nursing home enough, it's like a 5 star hotel. The staff are all so nice and caring. The manager is really nice and is so willing to listen if there is a problem. I give it 10 out of 10.

My friend went into Savile Park approx one year ago. I, as a good friend, visit x 2 per week and take her out for lunch, etc. From the on-set I have found all staff, from the manager to clerical, both friendly and informative, they are professional and really do care for the residents who reside there.
I unfortunately have plenty of experience in homes both residential and nursing that simply have no standards, as a registered (retired) nurse I have witnessed both and, in my opinion, I feel that Savile Park indeed should be proud of the service they provide.

My mum came to live here in March 2015 she's happy and content and extremely well cared for. The staff are absolutely amazing and caring with lots of patience, nothing is too much trouble for them. I can rest easy knowing she is so well looked after.
