My father spent a short while in the nursing wing for end of life care. All the staff have been so kind and caring and his nursing has been excellent. We are very grateful he had a comfortable and peaceful end and can't thank all the staff enough.

Visited different care homes trying to decide which would be best for my mother, who had dementia. We decided on Cliftonville, which proved 100% to be the correct choice. All the staff were friendly, helpful, going beyond expectation. On the night Mum was expected to pass away, staff came to say goodbye,asked
night team to call if she passed away. These are such lovely caring staff who were the same whatever time of day you turned up. They are there for the whole family and not just the family member. If you need a home, this is the one to use. Great thanks to all the staff.

My wife has been on the Memory ward for seven weeks. When we started looking at Care Homes we were told by a number of people to never expect a perfect place. Well, seven weeks on and so far they are wrong. Cliftonville could not be better in any way. The care, dedication and love all the staff give
is just wonderful. They also extend that love and support to us as a family. There are also three "Pink Ladies", the Activity Team. They provide plenty of different events and are a constant joy and pleasure to see in action.
It is a lovely home, but so much more, as it is a home filled with love and care. As a family, we can never thank the staff enough for all they are doing for my wife. My daughter and I, who visit most days, are totally satisfied that she is in such safe caring hands and so we have no worries that she isn't receiving the very best care she could get.

Since my mother arrived at Cliftonville Care Home in March 2015, the staff have always looked after her well. She is completely immobile and has to be hoisted to the bathroom etc. but staff always deal with her promptly when required. The activity team are excellent with her and my mother is happy with
everything.

Just had our first review. We were informed of my mum's progress. We discussed her care needs and addressed any issues if any. Her medications were also discussed and the manager suggested a medication that mum could be given, which would help her diagnosis.
My mum's team leader was also pleasant
and we discussed what I would like for my mum, her care leader and her staff she works with are extremely helpful, caring and always implement anything I request. The ladies in"pink" are fantastic, mum loves all the activities and at least has something to discuss with us when we visit her!

My father spent the last few years of his life at Cliftonville Care Home and I cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone, including the admin staff were so considerate. My father was treated with dignity and genuine kindness by the cares for whom nothing seemed to be too much. I was touched by the gentleness
at the end of his life and the way they treated not only him, but the caring way they treated me too.

I think this is an excellent care home in every way. Having the use of the beautiful sheltered garden is a great bonus. The staff are all kind and caring. The rooms and facilities are of an excellent standard maybe the alternative to sandwiches at tea time could be of a softer consistency for those
who can't eat crusty crunchy food.

I brought my father to 'Cliftonville Care Home' having been to other good care homes before. I was very impressed by the professional and caring way the assessment was carried out at home by the manager and deputy manager. My father has Alzheimer's Dementia and started off on the residential floor where
he was treated with respect and dignity. The staff make a great effort to get to know each resident individually, family background, life story, hobbies etc. He has now moved to the nursing floor where he is extremely well looked after. My mother has recently become a resident here and there are activities organised every day which she is encouraged to take part in. The whole home is extremely clean and fresh. The rooms are all well-furnished catering for all residents.

We care for Dad at home and wanted him to have a break some time away to enjoy company of others and some activities he would enjoy. Cliftonville exceeded our expectations in all areas of care and support of my father in law. The staff are professional and the most caring individuals, they have such
capacity to manage by providing love and support and are aware of each individuals needs with the capacity to manage one to one needs. The quality of care from the food served, the activities and relaxation has been a huge benefit to Dad he may not remember what he did or even ate but I am sure he will remember how all the staff at Cliftonville Care Northampton made him feel. My mother arrived at Cliftonville after spending 14 weeks in hospital. She was very frail, within a week the difference in her was unbelievable. The care given at Cliftonville is first class, she is now a permanent resident there and enjoying taking part in all the activities that are on offer, also
she is able to have her hair done weekly as a salon is on site. Mum's actual words were "If I cannot go home to live this is the next best place". I would definitely recommend Cliftonville to anyone looking for a home for their parents or family member.

Helpful, caring and adaptable, much appreciated by my cousin. He liked the food was well looked after, and the staff were very caring. We were able to take him out whenever he wanted and we were able to arrange the home to take him to the opera when we were away. His room was always tidy and he was

My sister went into Cliftonville Care Home on the 1st of September 2015. In the short period of time that my sister was there she was treated with the utmost respect and care while she was there. As her family it took so much pressure off us, and every time we visited we were treated like family so
nice. Always a welcome smile and you can help yourself to drinks available. We have certainly mentioned the care home to others.

My mother stayed here recently for respite care and it was a positive experience for all our family. The care she received was of the highest quality, giving my family, and especially my father, peace of mind during her recovery. The support from the nursing staff was caring and respectful and nothing
was too much trouble. They were attentive and always had time to explain what was happening. She had care from their in-house GP and her medication was tailored to her needs. The home itself is beautiful to look at and was immaculate at all times. The food was freshly prepared and of the highest quality, and there were activities that she could join in with if she wanted to. It made a difficult time easier, knowing she was so well cared for. I can't thank them enough

My mother has been in Northampton NHS Hospital since 17th August 2015, having survived viral encephalitis. Mum was transferred to Cliftonville on October 13th, very ill, depressed and unresponsive. The staff on the 3rd floor have been outstanding. Mum is now smiling, laughing and very alert and responsive.
The deputy manager has been so kind extremely understanding and knowledgeable in helping us to cope with our dear mum. Everyone from the receptionist, housekeeping staff, nurses and doctors have treated us as a family with respect and kindness and also fun. Mum, I am pleased to say is now a resident. How fortunate are we all. Thank you.

My mother stayed for some respite recently and I have to say that the care and attention she received from the staff was outstanding. My father, as a visitor and main carer, was extremely happy with her care during her stay which gave him peace of mind whilst they were apart. The care staff on the
residential floor deserve the biggest thanks, and the GP service Cliftonville provided was excellent in adjusting medication and explaining the reasons fully. All the staff were amazing right through from reception assisting with visitor menu choices to housekeeping and catering staff introducing themselves whilst going about their daily duties. Nothing was too much for anyone, so well done and thank you very much.

My name is Maria and I am the Home Manager at Cliftonville Care Home.


As Home Manager, I fully understand how difficult the transition into new surroundings can be. My highly qualified team and I are committed to fully supporting you and your family throughout this journey and always.


I am passionate about our residents being safe, making them happy, and enabling them to lead fully enriched lives whilst always receiving the highest quality of care.


One thing that I feel is really important is offering residents a lot of personal choice and as Cliftonville Care home is their home they have the right to choose what goes on here. I am hands-on in my role, I like to spend as much time as possible with the people that we care for and I also really enjoy getting to know our residents' families and provide them with support when they need it.


Our team here at Cliftonville Care Home are dedicated to guaranteeing that all of our residents are treated with dignity, respect and attention, in turn enabling them to celebrate life in their new home which I feel exceptionally privileged to be a part of.
