Holmesview has 60 beautiful, single bedrooms all with a TV (including Sky), telephone and internet access and en-suite shower room.

The home is designed for small group living and each of the 10 bedroom suite has it’s own lounge and dining room. The garden is a popular place to sit with a cup of tea, or for activities, weather permitting.

Events and activities are hugely enjoyed at Holmesview and a dedicated team, full calendar, and the availability of their own minibus ensures that the level of participation is high.
Holmesview’s excellent Chef and kitchen team offer nutritionally-balanced, freshly prepared meals. The menu changes on a four-weekly cycle and they try to accommodate different tastes and diets as far as possible.

Round-the-clock registered nursing care means that older people with differing medical conditions can stay at Holmesview. A GP attends weekly for the in-house surgery.

My mum moved in to Holmesview in June 2023, with advanced dementia and high nursing care needs. As a family we have nothing but praise and appreciation for the level of care which has been provided. Mum can't express her wishes but staff respond to her with kindness and compassion and have been able
to get to know her at some meaningful level. This is a sad time for us as a family but we are always made welcome, and staff are responsive to any issues or questions which we raise in relation to mum's needs. We have peace of mind that mum is well cared for, clean and safe. Thank you.

I visit my sister here and I am impressed by the helpful staff and the well maintained and bright property.
My sister who is 91 speaks highly of the support she gets round the clock especially as she has both hearing and visual disabilities.

This is an excellent care facility where the staff treat all the residents and relatives individually and with respect. The rooms and communal areas are spotless and homely. The staff encourage residents to participate in a wide range of activities both indoors and by going out on excursions. I know

All the staff are always welcoming, professional and courteous. My Aunt receives consistently excellent care and she is treated with respect.

Amazing care home. We couldn't be happier with the care Mum is receiving. The staff are really friendly and caring towards not just our mum but her visitors too. Always lots of things going on and they make such an effort for all the residents at Christmas adding personal thoughtful gifts. We cannot

My mum has been resident in Holmesview Broxburn since May 2024, the care she is receiving is second to none, she is well looked after 24/7, Holmesview is extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. There are always activities that she can join in which includes runs out in the minibus, colouring in
pictures dominoes, getting her hair and nails done which she loves, activities seem to vary from resident to resident. A warm welcome is always awaiting from every staff member when I go to visit my mum.

My mum took up residency a week ago in Holmesview. She has settled really well thanks to the dedication and care of the staff. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food menu is varied. The rooms are a high standard with a homely feel. My mum is comfortable and in safe hands.

Staff are very professional in approach. All grades of staff are friendly and interact with us as a family. My family member is treated with respect and dignity. Her individuality is catered for at all times. There is always something going on at the home, staff go the extra mile with these activities
and also outings. I have had a lot of experience with care homes and this one definitely surpasses my previous experiences.

Our Dad is so very happy at Holmesview. He feels safe, respected and very well cared for. When we walk through the home all staff stop to talk to him calling him by his first name - this is any member of staff including kitchen, domestic etc staff and they are all so very friendly towards him. Management
are very welcoming and approachable and reception staff interact great with both residents and family members. The entertainment staff go above and beyond to make sure all residents are included and have a very varied programme to suit the needs of all residents. We have recommended Holmesview to friends who have been looking for care homes for their parents.

My stepmum has been a resident of this care home for nearly two years and I can honestly say we could not have a better place for her to stay. When looking for a care home for Mum we felt Holmesview had a very nice energy and had modern, well-maintained facilities but it's hard to tell on first review how things will really be. Now into our third year, we are delighted with the standard of care which exceeds expectations. Staffing is very
stable so Mum now knows everyone looking after her, they are all incredible and we could not be more grateful. It's not just where Mum lives, it really is her home. Thank you.

What a lovely, friendly, compassionate care home this is. Our mum had to spend time in respite due to my father needing a spell in hospital. It was the first time they had spent time apart, so was a daunting time for them both. The staff at Holmes View are caring, compassionate, patient and respectful
of their residents. We as a family could visit any time and were made very welcome (my siblings all work full-time) if there had been restricted visiting time this would’ve been quite difficult, we were all appreciative of this.
Once my father was out of hospital he managed to visit himself, the staff were kind and very interested in my mum and dad's life story, which they both loved to talk about. Dad was treated almost like a resistant would often have his dinner with them, much to Dad’s delight.
If anyone has a loved one that needs looking after, this is a first-class Care Home.

My mother has been a resident of Holmesview since October 2015. At the point, my Mum went into care, she was extremely ill, and I honestly feared the worse; the fact that I am writing this almost 7-years later is a testament to the care she has received during that time and continues to receive. The
staff are exceptional (and I mean everyone) I often marvel at their caring, positive attitudes, always smiling and full of fun, and this gives Holmesview a really positive, happy vibe. Mum's care/nursing needs are varied and complex, and they are sadly exacerbated as she gets older, but I continue to have great confidence in the support and care that she receives within Holmesview, as well as knowing that she is happy and still has the best quality of life despite her health issues. I have great peace of mind around Mum's care, of course, I still worry about her, but this allows me to lead my life and still enjoy my time with Mum. Highly recommend Holmesview.

Holmesview cared for my mother in the last 6 months of her life. The staff were excellent and incredibly caring towards Mum at a very difficult time for all of us. The staff were always informative and supportive of our family members. Mum had a very comfortable room overlooking the lovely garden and

Holmesview have cared for my mother for 8 years and over this time her needs have changed substantially. Holmesview have always met these changing needs promptly and without question. Providing different support equipment as required. The staff have been most supportive especially during her times of

Holmesview is an excellent facility with very professional and caring staff. My father has been a resident for 6 months and has Alzheimer's disease. His condition has been very stable since he has been in the care home. He participates in many activities which I feel he enjoys and this stimulates him.
Before entering the care home he did not do very much at all. Holmsview has an extensive program of activities, including trips away in the bus which my father attends regularly. The caring staff are always warm and friendly and treat the residents with the dignity they deserve. The staff create a safe, comfortable and enjoyable place for the residents to live. The home-cooked food is also excellent which suits my Dad, as given half a chance he would eat continuously. I wish to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Holmesview.
