Holmesview has 60 beautiful, single bedrooms all with a TV (including Sky), telephone and internet access and en-suite shower room.

The home is designed for small group living and each of the 10 bedroom suite has it’s own lounge and dining room. The garden is a popular place to sit with a cup of tea, or for activities, weather permitting.

Events and activities are hugely enjoyed at Holmesview and a dedicated team, full calendar, and the availability of their own minibus ensures that the level of participation is high.
Holmesview’s excellent Chef and kitchen team offer nutritionally-balanced, freshly prepared meals. The menu changes on a four-weekly cycle and they try to accommodate different tastes and diets as far as possible.

Round-the-clock registered nursing care means that older people with differing medical conditions can stay at Holmesview. A GP attends weekly for the in-house surgery.

A superb and relatively newly built care home that has 60 ensuite rooms split into individual units of 10, each with its own dining room and lounge creating small close-knit communities for the residents. There is a communal sun room where residents can meet and for activities. My family found this
care home almost by chance and with my wife blocking a hospital bed she moved in one week from our first seeing it. She settled very quickly due to the wonderful atmosphere and excellent care provided and has made use of the many activities including outings in the minibus and her favourite, regular visits to the local pub where she and other residents are welcomed by the locals. All staff without fail are welcoming and smiling and the home is maintained to an exceptionally clean and fresh environment. The costs are not cheap but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I am happy to recommend it.

This care home is extremely clean, tidy and well maintained. Most of the staff are very friendly and always interact with the residents. After some meetings and discussions, we seem to have my mother on a more varied diet plan that meets her dietary requirements. There is a group of activity staff who
are also very friendly with the residents. I would like to see more information given to the residents' family members on how often their loved ones go to these activities or outings so that I could interact with my mother about her day. I would also like to see more staff so that the residents can be more closely monitored. I am overall happy with my mum's care and would recommend the home to others in the same situation as ourselves.
