Having placed my cousin with Cumbrae House, I have met with a very professional, efficient and friendly approach by both the manager, admin staff, caring services, who have treated my family member with dignity and kindness. As such, I have peace of mind in the knowledge that she is being well cared
for and safe.

Excellently situated off the Great Western Road in a quiet cul de sac. A home from home. A vibrant place where life is lived to the full. Where independence, choice, freedom and dignity are greatly valued. The highly trained and friendly staff are on hand for all eventualities.
All the touches of home
are there too; such as pets, home cooked foods and a delightful little garden area for the better days where the residents are encouraged to potter around caring for the plants. Classes in art, baking and singing are just a few of the activities on offer also trips out to the cinema local museums and botanic gardens. It's just like living at home without the worry of housework, cooking, hoovering etc.
It was a place I could leave my mother after each visit that I made, with the knowledge that she would be happy and safe and looked after with dignity care and love.

My mother has been living at Cumbrae House for over a year now. As is expected it was the hardest decision my family have had to make for mum. In my view, Cumbrae House has been wonderful for mum and the family. As all the family live in Jersey, it is so important for us that mum is being well looked
after and happy.
Mum is no longer lonely, is very well cared for as the staff in my view are wonderful. Nothing is ever too much for mum or us.
Mum has company every day and lots of activities.
I cannot thank the staff enough for making mums life so happy and giving the family peace of mind. I have no other experience with care homes, but I would put Cumbrae House in the top 5.
