Godswell Park is a luxury care home, providing residential and nursing care, with en-suite rooms providing extensive views over eight acres of landscaped and fully accessible grounds in the village of Bloxham, near Banbury in Oxfordshire.

It is the first standalone general nursing home solely for older people in England out of the 18,000 registered with the CQC to achieve a score of 'Outstanding' in all five inspection areas.

The many sitting rooms and an in-house cinema and activities area allow residents to enjoy either a quiet period of reflection, socialise and be entertained.

Residents can chat with visitors and fellow residents and engage in the wealth of activities on offer.

Godswell Park has its own beauty therapist and a sun therapy room which uses technology imported from Sweden, to allow residents and their visitors to enjoy simulated natural daylight even during the darkest days of winter.

Godswell Park boasts one of the best restaurants in the area, with the choice of menu updated daily to make the most of fresh seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients.

A coffee lounge is open all day for residents who would like to meet their friends and chat. Private parties and celebrations are particularly encouraged.

Excellent food and range of activities. Superb facilities. More importantly level of care during my mother's final weeks was first class. The number of residents (I think 45) makes it feel as much as possible like a home.

I live abroad and visit my auntie only a few times a year. She has been at 'Godswell Park Care Home' for 2 and a half years and our whole family is delighted with all aspects of the home. We spent months looking for a suitable nursing home. (I wouldn't put my dog in the others we saw!) 'Godswell Park
Care Home' is like a world class Bijoux hotel with outstanding service and staff that truly care. My aunt is a difficult person who likes to moan a lot. It is a testament to everyone working there that she struggles to find anything to complain about when I visit. I wish all care homes were like 'Godswell Park Care Home'.

The care and compassion afforded to my mother over more than 4 years has been exceptional. Everyone at Godswell is friendly, encouraging, thoughtful and courteous. The facilities and food can be compared to a very good hotel and there are always lots of activities to join in with but no pressure to
do so if that wasn't what she wanted to do. There is little turnover of staff so they get to know the residents really well and this in turn allowed my mother to feel very safe and secure and build real friendships.
