Overall Experience

An excellent care home. Both my parents were cared for here from September 2020 (my dad died in October 2020) and from then, until June 26th 2024 for my mother. Through Covid and very difficult dementia, the staff always went above and beyond their duty. They kept me informed of any issues, looked after

my mum with humour, love and kindness and treated all my family with understanding. Thank you, Halden Heights for caring until the end. I hope to keep in touch with the staff as they become my friends also.

Overall Experience

Generally a good experience.
Most of the care was excellent and staff were friendly and approachable. Can be a bit noisy - sound came a long way under the glass door. Particularly difficult that we all go to bed at 6-7pm!
Would have liked a bigger mirror in my room.
Food was very good mostly but

would like to have more green leafy vegetables.
Laundry service was impressive. Quick turnaround and staff very helpful if things went missing.
Nurses/carers very helpful with my medication.

Overall Experience

My husband was in Halden Heights for 8 weeks prior to his passing away. He received excellent care, his room was delightful, and the staff was very considerate to both me, my husband, and visitors. They made us feel at home. The manager in particular was very welcoming and always made herself available.

Overall Experience

I could not wish for a more professional, kindly and caring home for my dear wife.
Halden Heights always seems to go the "extra steps" to help and care for their residents. The staff are all friendly and have a lovely "informed" way when talking with the residents. There is always a good choice of

food, interesting and well prepared.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

An exceptional modern well, maintained care home. The manager is very professional, dynamic, disciplined, charismatic, and caring individual. Modern equipment and living/activities areas. An extremely excellent environment with extensive grounds in a very peaceful area. Food is varied and very well

presented on the plates and good room service and caring.
Weather appropriate? but a small exercise room and equipment with physio for respite surgery patients?

Overall Experience

All staff have exceptional care at all times within 24 hours of moving in from the hospital, I felt 100% better. The atmosphere was very calm, with good food and attentive staff, who wanted to get to know my likes and dislikes, which really helped. Made to feel very special on my birthday and had Christmas.

Dhame hoist for me bath on my floor was not fixed in the six months I was here.
But cannot praise all staff for their care.

Overall Experience

My brother was moved from hospital to Halden Heights end of November 2022 (89 years old) and was thought to have only two weeks to live. He died on November 9th 2023.
From day one, I knew I had made the right choice:- Halden Heights Care Community is beautifully clean, well run, with well-trained

staff who are very welcoming with a smile. They show sympathy and great care. My brother was 89 (May 2022) on the date of admission which was the 26th November 2022.
I felt I had become 'one of the family' with staff who looked after me and my brother, offering me support and encouragement always. There were always competent staff around should I be concerned about anything.
A huge thank you Halden Heights Care community to the reception, caterers, cleaners, helpers, carers, nurses and right through to the exceptional lady at the top.

I feel peace of mind having my mum cared for at Halden Heights. The staff treat and look after her needs. They are also very thoughtful and respectful to those that visit friends or family. The staff come over as very caring, although I imagine it to be a very challenging job. The staff are always very

friendly and informative about my mother's health and keep us updated with all that's going on. Always greet us with a smile and a friendly good buy. Thank you for all that you do.
