Warren Lodge provides person-centred care for people living with dementia, including residential and nursing care. This purpose-built home has dementia champions who work to improve the quality of life for residents through daily activities and opportunities for reminiscence and stimulation.

Care is also offered to those requiring day care or palliative care. The home offers both long-term and respite care - stay for as little or long as you need, advance bookings available.

Large lounges and a pleasant sunroom are just a few of the up-to-date comforts available. There is also a dedicated cinema room fitted with cinema seats and a large screen television for film afternoons.

An open kitchen is available for residents to make their own snacks and drinks, as and when they wish. All meals are prepared by chefs using only fresh ingredients.

A full programme of activities aimed at all abilities is always available. Residents who enjoy gardening are encouraged to stay involved in the secure garden with its raised flower beds, allotment and greenhouse.

My mother was a resident at Warren Lodge from February 2002 until her death in September 2018 and during her time as a resident, I cannot fault her care. She was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Her personal care was faultless, whether it was changing her, moving her or feeding her.
The
home was always immaculately clean, the staff always there for not only my mother but our family as well and nothing was ever too much trouble.
My mother passed away this month and for the last two weeks of her life, which was not an easy time for any of us the staff went above and beyond their care for her. They were also there for the family and could not have done enough for us, whether it was supplying drinks, offering food and a bed for the night or just giving us a cuddle when we needed it. I am so pleased that mum spent her last days at Warren Lodge with staff who really cared for her than in a hospital ward.
Thank you, Warren Lodge, I cannot recommend you highly enough.

My dad is on respite care due to my mother's knee operation. My dad has been well cared for up to date, with most of his needs.
My dad is not too keen to go out to play as in mix with others. However, the home has tried their best! Only concern is his help button has been out of action and not replaced.

My Uncle was resident at Warren Lodge from 2014 to May 2018. He had life-long Type 1 diabetes and vascular dementia. It took a few weeks for him to get to know his way around and where his room was, then it was like he'd always lived there. He ate 3 healthy, nutritious meals per day with snacks in between.
He even had a hairdresser. At Easter and Christmas, there is always a party with the chef preparing lots of special food for family and friends, on these occasions and of course on his birthday and a summer open day. His palliative care was excellent, he was treated with such dignity and respect. He passed away with his window open on a beautiful sunny day and the staff at this critical time were just wonderful, they carried on with their duties for him and helped us through it too with dignity and kindness and care. I can't praise the staff enough. It may be said that it is too expensive here, but considering the care for one person on a 24-hour basis, the Value for Money is Excellent.

Our father is on palliative care and is treated with respect and dignity. The management and care staff are very informative and let us know straight away of any changes with dad. We are part of an extremely big family and are treated with the utmost respect at all times, always made to feel welcome

I was so delighted to learn that my mother was playing cards with other residents till after midnight last week, requesting more snacks and drinks at around 10.30pm! She is wracked with dementia, I am wracked with guilt that I can't look after her. However, this seems to prove that, in fact, she is
much better being looked after by the professionals at Warren Lodge than anything I could do.
Kindness, endless patience, warmth and laughter are the order of the day at Warren Lodge. Oh and great food and a nice room too. Dementia is the cruellest of diseases and there are no perfect solutions, but this is really as good as it possibly could be. I am endlessly grateful to the team at Warren Lodge. Thank you.

My father was a resident at Warren Lodge for 4 years requiring specialist care for his dementia. Looking for a suitable care home is difficult and confusing but from the moment the family viewed Warren Lodge we knew we had made the right choice.
Sadly Dad passed away last Sunday, but throughout his
stay, his care has been exemplary from all members of staff, his room spotlessly clean and welcoming, and staff always on hand to look after his and the family needs.
We cannot express our thanks highly enough and would recommend Warren Lodge without hesitation to anyone seeking a suitable care home for their loved ones.

It has been my experience in the time that my partner has been a resident at Warren Lodge, to be a good one. There have been times when this staff have been hard pressed to attend to the comfort needs of my partner, she has had to wait for a while all be it not too long.

Very caring and understanding staff who relate well to the residents and treat them with dignity. A variety of activities are organised with some volunteers coming along to encourage a 'sing-a-long' plus activities organised 'in house' and residents are encouraged to participate.

My wife has been in Warren Lodge Care Home for 8 months, her health has deteriorated due to her dementia. The nurses are excellent and besides carrying out their normal duties, respond quickly to any problems. Most carers are very good/excellent although I sense there to be a little lack of experience/understanding
in one or two carers, (we all have to learn.) All management and staff including activities are all very friendly and are all on first term names. It was a very good choice of care home for my wife.

My Mother has been in Warren Lodge Care Home since January 2016. During this time, she has been there her health has, unfortunately, deteriorated as a result of Alzheimers. I have been very impressed with the standard of care she has received especially now she is bed ridden. I have also been impressed
with the support that has been given to the family as a whole during this time.

My husband is into his third year here. I am happy with all aspects of his care. What I have as an overall impression is that the training of staff is good and there is a team of good quality qualified nurses. I feel that for most they are all in it because they care and interact well with residents
one to one. Everything is kept very clean and my hubby has not had flu or chest infection or the nasty virus mutating over the last couple of years. Never seen a member of staff at work with coughs and colds. The food is hotel quality - obviously a good chef and the food is also balanced for good health. I didn't even want to put value for money because over £5000 per month is far too much, but the South east is very expensive.

My wife has been a resident at Warren Lodge since September 1st 2015. All aspects of the care she has received there have been very impressive. A high standard of cleanliness is maintained. There is plenty of good food. First names or nick names or terms of endearment are much used. Much patience is
shown. The staff have also been helpful to me if and when needful. The ambient temperature is well controlled at a sensible level. Value for money? This is the only care home of which I have much knowledge but I suspect it would be difficult to do much better at this sort of level.

As the son of a much loved mother, who is suffering from dementia and multiple other conditions, I am delighted that she has been placed at the magnificent Bupa Nursing home. In the past year there have been a number of reports regarding poor service at other homes all over the country, this home has
no such problems. The staff are excellent, hard working and very Kind. The whole ambiance cannot be beaten!

My Dad has been at the home for 14 months. I looked at 16 care homes before WL. This is an expensive home however Dad is safe and looked after by kind and caring staff who have got to know him as an individual, his likes, dislikes, dementia triggers, the carers and nurses have developed strategies and
a gentle, persuasive but effective approach to some aspects of his care that he finds difficult to accept because of the illness. All the staff at the home from Management through to housekeepers and auxiliary are friendly, polite and respectful to both residents and relatives alike. Any problems that arise for my Dad are dealt with effectively and discreetly and I find everyone approachable. The Manager and Deputy are receptive and proactive in sorting out any issues or taking up any suggestions that may help in the care of my Dad. I particularly like the monthly care reviews with a nurse which means the care plan is constantly reviewed and always current and up to date, I and the staff can add particular details as they arise and Dad's health and mental well being is constantly monitored. From having a fairly stable turnover of staff last year there have been some changes in the last few months so a few new and perhaps inexperienced carers but the rotas at the moment seem to be balanced with experienced staff who the residents know well. Staff/resident ratio seems adequate most of the time although the carers always seem to have a heavy workload they remain cheerful. Although Dad chooses not to join in most activities, the Activity Coordinator is keen and enthusiastic in organising a variety of activities in the home. I particularly chose this home for all the reasons mentioned above but also easy access for Dad to his bedroom and the garden which is pleasant. Dad walks a great deal as part of the illness and wide light corridors help. No one home can answer every need but overall this home has so far met Dad's needs and he is kept comfortable and treated with dignity by all the staff. My hope is that fees are not increased this year after a hefty increase last year as this is a very good home.

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2022

I joined the team at Warren Lodge at the end of 2022 after working in the care sector for over 18 years. I hold an MBA, a BSc, a Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care and a Registered Manager (Adults) Award.


Having worked for several leading care companies in the capacity of leadership, management, and commissioning services, I have extensive experience in managing care homes for older people, including people who live with dementia, learning/physical disabilities, and mental health conditions. I also have a wealth of experience when it comes to managing larger teams. My motto is to “provide a service we and our loved ones would like to receive”.


I love the fact that no two days are the same. I enjoy seeing how the care we provide makes a difference in our residents' quality of life. I’m passionate about elderly and dementia care, quality improvement and the provision of compassionate person-centred care to all our residents. I’m also passionate about motivating team members for career progression, team member well-being and clinical education and improvement.


I’m a family-oriented person, I love travelling and meeting new people. I have recently relocated from London to Kent and I’m loving it.
