Situated in the heart of Guisborough, Park House is a luxurious, purpose-built care home offering residential and residential dementia care to older people.

The home prides itself on its prime location in the market town and was lovingly named by the pupils of St Paulinus RC School in 2011.

With its extensively trained and kind care team, Park House offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door.

Across the three communities, Park House offers hotel-style décor and furnishings, from the modern reception area to the popular lounges and dining areas.

There are a range of seating areas to choose from at Park House, from quiet corners overlooking the beautiful Guisborough Forest, to spots where Residents can enjoy a board game together, or perhaps a glass of their favourite tipple by the cosy fireplace. The dining rooms are a popular place for Residents to socialise and sample the homemade dishes on the menu.

Residents’ bedrooms are spacious, light, airy and tastefully decorated, with many overlooking the local countryside and Guisborough Forest. All rooms have ensuite wet rooms, and those in the Garden Suite also have direct access to a private patio, where many Residents enjoy sitting in the sunshine, planting flowers, and feeding the birds. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with treasured belongings and items of furniture, to help Park House feel like a home from home.

Park House provides a varied activities programme, including arts and crafts, baking, local excursions, and entertainment. Residents also enjoy visiting the on-site hairdressing salon, nail bar and cinema room, as well as relaxing in the peaceful communal garden. Themed activity stations are also available and are carefully designed for those living with dementia.

This is a wonderful home, very clean, fresh and comfortable. There are always smiling faces which greet us as we walk thru the door to visit my grandmother-in-law, the staff are so kind, happy and helpful, nothing is too much for them. Gran seems very at home and content at Park House, its very reassuring
and puts our minds at ease that she is so well looked after, care, attention and assistance is just a call button away for her. It's clear that she and other resident's needs are paramount to the staff. The food seems to go down very well, the snacks always seem welcome, the entertainment calendar within the home is fantastic and keeps the residents engaged and socialising with one another.
Couldn't ask for anything better.

Park House is a brilliant home. I come to visit two friends who I have known since I was a child. They both are very happy at Park House. Would recommend to anyone who was looking at homes. Very well presented and clean.

The staff make this home special. They are caring and treat the residents with dignity. They are friendly and are very aware of each resident's individual needs. I visited nearly all the care homes in this area before I made the decision for Dad to come to Park House. It was a good decision, I now know Dad to be well cared for, safe and happy. The staff, particularly the care staff are great. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Park House
to anyone.

Mum moved into Park House in the summer as she was unhappy in the home she was in. From the day she moved in, there was a change in her. She was immediately much happier, content and settled in very quickly.
Staff are helpful and polite/cheerful and make everyone welcome. Mum enjoys the friendly atmosphere
in the home, feels that she is listened to and that any problems are quickly sorted. I have seen a big change in mum, both physically and mentally, I know she is now happy and content in her home.
I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is the third care home that my husband has been in and I moved house (30 miles) to get him a place in Park House which was recommended by two independent people. My husband is happy and well settled and I have a good, friendly relationship with the staff. As with all the care homes that I have
experienced, I would like to see more presence on the floor from management as it gives the residents' families assurance that any problems are dealt with.

My mother came to Park house 3 months ago and I was impressed bu how quickly staff understood and met her needs. Whenever I have asked, the member of staff concerned has always been aware of what my mother has been doing, how she has been entering and how she's feeling. Park House provides a lovely
peaceful environment, and I have always been made to feel welcome.

My aunt came into Park House in September 2016. In the 6-7 months, she has been in Park House she looks a whole lot better than she was before, due to the excellent care and attention she is receiving from the excellent staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending Park House to anyone else in need

My father's care has been excellent.
The staff look after him well and always attend to his needs with care and show a good level of empathy.
