Newbridge House is a real home from home where mum is safe, cherished and well cared for. Her room is cosy and always spotlessly clean. The staff are unfailingly caring and compassionate. Mum is happy there and always speaks highly of how caring the staff are. As relatives, we are kept informed and
always treated with friendliness. All in all, we couldn't wish for better. Thanks to all the staff for caring for mum so well.

A friendly place to live with a staff that is genuinely caring and compassionate. Residents are treated with the utmost respect and dignity and I love the individualism approach taken with all the residents - every person counts! A very warm and welcoming place always!

Mum had been in independent living but needed more care/assistance. All staff are very welcoming and friendly. They deal with all her needs as and when needed in a caring and respectful way, and keep her as mobile as possible. As a family, we are informed of any medical changes and well-being that may
occur and answer any queries that we may have. She has a clean welcoming room, enjoys her meals and having a banter with carers. Importantly, Mum is happy.

It's lovely seeing my nan being treated like she's part of a family and seeing her interacting with staff and other residents. The home itself is spotless and you can tell staff are enthusiastic in their job and clearly enjoy it there, nan likes it enough to want to stay permanently

After having a rather difficult year, with my aunt having numerous hospital admissions, we made the difficult decision in January that it would not be safe for my Aunt to return home. it has been such a relief to know that my aunt is happy, settled and well looked after. The staff have all been lovely
and I can tell every time I visit that they genuinely care for the residents and that my Aunt enjoys her interactions with them. I love the relaxed approach to visiting - we’re asked to phone beforehand but it is never a problem and we are made to feel very welcome. The physical building is well maintained and is perfect for a care home (and a great improvement on the short-term homes that my aunt has stayed in on previous occasions). Newbridge House was recommended to me and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

My aunt was in Newbridge House after being in another residential home for nearly 12 months. Unfortunately, my aunt (in my opinion) wasn't receiving the care that she deserved in the original care home. She was regularly having falls, and we were constantly being called to say she was in the hospital
following yet another fall. We visited Newbridge to have a look around, and we were immediately impressed by the surroundings and staff. We told the staff about her falls, and they straight away provided a chair with sensors to alert them if she tried to get out of the chair - not a single fall in all the time she was there. The staff constantly kept us up to date with her health concerns. Unfortunately, my aunt has now passed away, but the care that the staff gave her in her final weeks was second to none. She was never alone right up to her final moments. I can rest easy in the knowledge that when I took the decision to move her to Newbridge, it was, without doubt, the best move.

My auntie was treated more like a family member by the home and its staff rather than a resident. Her needs were dealt with and she was treated with kindness and respect. Cannot fault them, so glad we chose Newbridge.
She has since passed away from old age but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the home
to anyone needing somewhere safe for their relative.

From our first visit to Newbridge house, we knew this would be the place for my mother.
After seeing at least six other homes who were all good, we could tell the level of care here is second to none.
All the staff show a warm and caring attitude along with the professionalism needed to do this exacting
job.
Mom's room is tastefully decorated, and she has everything she needs.
The home is also spotlessly clean and well looked after.
We are warmly welcomed on every visit and we can even make our own cup of tea if we want one.
We are looking forward to warmer weather so we can make use of the well-kept garden and summerhouse.
The food is also excellent and Mom is eating a lot better since she moved in.
Mom is also joining in the activities arranged by the staff.
If you are thinking of moving your relative anywhere you will not find a better place than Newbridge House.

On arrival to admit the new patient to his home very warm welcome. Staff were very polite and hospitable, and explained the daily itinerary thoroughly. My friend's father was made comfortable and satisfied with his new surroundings which were spotlessly clean and bright with plenty of light. I could
tell he would be very happy here.

This care home was chosen by my niece for my sister (the resident) after having gone through a list of care homes listed in the local area which would be convenient for immediate family and friends to visit her.
From day one my sister has had kind and respectful treatment, and nothing has been any
trouble to carry out anything requested of the staff.
Whilst I am not responsible for the finance of the care of my sister, in comparison with the other homes which were considered in the locality by my niece, I think she chose well and I would have no hesitation
in recommending Newbridge House to anyone who is in a similar situation.

My wife and I had both of our moms in Newbridge House. We had moved my mom initially from another care home based on recommendations from friends of ours. Newbridge is an exceptional care home run by a first-class, well-qualified progressive young manager who participates in local improvement initiatives,
supported by a lady who is also excellent. The rooms are very well furnished and decorated, the food provided is excellent, and the overall staff were faultless and always caring and helpful to residents and their families. Hoping when needed that a place will be available.

With a heavy heart, my Mother unable to live in her own home anymore had to go somewhere with good care; sympathetic and kind staff. After looking at many homes I went to Newbridge House and from the moment I stepped inside it became obvious to me this was the place for my mother. The owner spent time
to explain how she came to set up the home and ran the home and a testament to her leadership is that not only are the residents exceptionally well cared for but they are happy and many of the staff have been working at Newbridge since it opened its doors which says it all. All the staff are cognisant that I am an only child and live overseas as do the rest of the family and go out of their way to keep me informed;nothing is too much trouble ;for that I am most grateful. As always with these things, it took time for my mother to settle but there is no doubt that the understanding; kindness; care she is given daily has made that transition easier not only for my mother but for the family thank you.

As soon as you step through the front door at Newbridge House, you are met with a lovely, friendly atmosphere. The whole team are exceptionally kind, caring, patient and compassionate. My mother-in-law is very well looked after - physically, mentally and emotionally. Out of all the care homes I have
visited over the years, if I needed one myself, Newbridge House is the one I would choose.

My mum has been in Newbridge House Care Home for nearly eighteen months now and the care and the staff have been wonderful. We had to choose a home at very short notice and were immediately impressed with how friendly they were on this short-notice visit and that has continued throughout Mum's stay
there. The manager and the team are always happy to answer any questions we might have and also have been really helpful and supportive as we try and navigate all the other people and agencies involved. I would have no doubt in recommending the home to others.

When I found out my sister was going to this home I went to see her. On my arrival, I was very warmly welcomed. Everyone was very friendly, from the management to staff and even the cleaners who are doing great to keep this home clean. In the summer we went to a festival they had prepared and had a
wonderful time. When I visit my sister it is usually about 10.30am and I come away when she has her lunch, the smell of the food is wonderful.

Mum moved into Newbridge House a few days before Christmas following a three-week stay in hospital. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful to settle her in and to put the family at ease.
Mum is now starting to settle into this caring and supportive environment. Staff have got to know Mum and
her ways ensuring her needs are fully met.
I have found Newbridge House to have a lovely, homely feel and it has friendly caring and supportive staff and management. Nothing is too much trouble from any member of staff.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming to both residents and relatives. The management made Mom's transfer from another home very easy and she settled in quickly due to the excellent care staff. Mom's room is warm, clean and homely with a large en-suite facility. The staff keep us informed of Moms
well being and call for medical assistance quickly when required. I can sleep soundly knowing Mom is happy in her new home and well cared for.

Fran Bodo is Newbridge House’s Deputy manager, who has worked at the home since it opened. Fran has over 12 years experience of in supporting elderly people with dementia and mental health issues. Fran holds level 5 NVQ in care and works closely with Multi-Disciplinary Team to manage the Health and well-being of our residents. Fran is also Newbridge's Diversity Champion.
